I can't remember the term, but one exists in business. It describes the idea that companies shouldn't announce a new version of product if a similar one is currently on the market. People might avoid buying the newly released PS5, if Sony announced a PS6 (for sale next year). I don't really know with this, if it's true in Hasbro's case, as for me, I've started to buy LESS TF figures, especially if I'm not happy with how they look (as they'll probably bring out a better/different version in a few years' time).
That would be a neat little redeco/retool. I'd say retool the beast jaws to look closer to the comics, but a straight red repaint would be neat.
100% guarantee you the people , at least 75% of the ones in this thread mad that they didnt show the bayverse figures will , when they are showed, be mad they didnt reveal more and show more.
Sweet. Wonder when they show us retools for other Junkions. Wager 3rd parties are already looking to upgrade it. Easy one is spiked wheels rather than the numbs here. Head/armor pieces like the various ones available for the CHUG Wreck-Gar.... Etc. Wonder if they scale well to the old set, let ya ride one Junkion or the other.
No, with these figures, they're DEFINITELY aiming at the fans and hoping nostalgic members of the public will also buy them too.
So no Kingdom / Beast Wars or BB / movie figures? Looks like I didn't miss much. Will keep waiting for Tigatron over here.
For the Junkions - a cool idea would be to make them kind of build-a-figure-esque and just have one figure with a bunch of snap-on parts to differentiate them. Like SS86 Kup's limbs and what not. That way you could even play the "building each other" bit from the movie.
Doing the lords work as always. Though im suprised 86 will be going thru 2022, theres not that many guys left.
I doubt Hasbro would dare to be so stupid. They'd rather stick their heads in a microwave and give themselves a tan than do that...
