Scavenger looks as simple as a deluxe in terms of part count and transformation. I guess it's just his size that makes him leader-class. Hope they give the alt mode a few more paint details though; looks pretty plain compared to the actual vehicle.

And his wheel/treads are... odd. Looks like the alt mode treads interlock to form the bottom wheel, but the wheel still has weird tread bits sticking out? If the wheel still actually rolls, I might be able to deal with it. But I always liked the collapsing/expanding treads from the old ROTF voyager; they were the coolest part of that figure, and I wish they could have done something similar here.

PS. That "parachute" with Shockwave is the worst-looking thing I've ever seen. I wish they would stop trying to inflate/justify the leader price point with these types of cheap, useless accessories. Just give us good-quality figures.

All those Studio Series figures are must-haves. How long have we been clamoring for 2007 Megatron? Shockwave looks freaking awesome too, and the Constructicons do not disappoint me! What a time to be a fan!  

 

I just know when I get home, I'm gonna be watching lots of shockwave clips.

I hope Overload's bot mode is designed based on the concept art that makes him look like an angry lobster bot.

They still need to do that Decepticon the Wreckers... wrecked in DotM. I forgot what fans have been calling it Devcon? I think.
Also Ravage and the Doktor should probably be packaged with a Leader or Small Voyager.

 

All two of them lol but yea me too. He looks pretty sick. Too bad it was a total waste in the film itself.

I want to know how the beat up, raggedy version of Megatron got a leader class and the ROTF was a voyager, and now movie 1 Megatron which arguably deserves to be a leader over any other version, is a dang remold of the ROTF version at voyager size. And now we have 2/3 Megatrons with blocky lower legs. That looks terrible!

I’m amazed how they did a movie 1 Megatron WITHOUT a massive backpack! Sure, it’s not 100% accurate but seeing as that was by FAR the weakest of all the Movie Megs, I’m fine with the changes.

Shockwave looks great. Seems like he’s gonna be super imposing and given that his altmode never showed up (or was ever designed for the movie as far as I can tell) I’m fine with him just being a temple of ROTF Megs. The robot mode is a really all that matters there. Wheelie and Brains are a surprise and the parachute guy is hilarious but that is going into storage.

Scavenger looks fantastic. Mixmaster seems awesome but I have no idea how he turns into a head!

 

i don't know it'll work but scavenger's wheels are the closet thing to devastators turbines

 

Honestly, though, those two under painted mini figures and little army man with the plastic parachute are much better than all of the unnecessary plastic junk that Siege Shockwave was packaged with. I can actually justify spending the $50 on this figure than the Siege version.

I need to interject this about Shockwave. The Studio Series line is supposed to emulate characters AND scenes for each figure. So for Hasbro to include a Brains figure, a Wheelie figure and a parachuter with Shockwave makes sense due to the relation of all 4 characters during the Battle of Chicago

He is around 3/4 of Scavenger’s height and Scavenger is literally bigger than his backdrop when he’s on it like Grimlock

Shockwave is both taller and has more mass than DOTM Megs and comes with 3 little figures instead of 1
