That's exactly what I voted.... In that order even for limbs.

JK, those colors kinda make me gag. The first option (dark blue, light blue, and yellow/tan) looks pretty good to me. Otherwise, I'm disappointed with the limb options (although having one giant Silverbolt gorilla arm would be cool...).

Origin = Kaon (if i can't get it as a Decepticon, I want Decepticon origins DAMMIT. )

For all we know they might be tabulating votes that way behind the scenes (hopefully they are). For the game aspect though it's more fun for the kids to say "I want his right arm to be a chopper!" or what not.

that's what i ended up voting as well, but overall i thought the color options were pretty lame ~ #3 is essentially Defensor and only having 3 choices w/ 3 colors in the palate seems really limited. (i'd AT LEAST have done 1 big swatch with an accent and 4 small swatches with accents)

i voted Bomber/Recon Jet/Race Car/Sports Car ~ seems like they kind of jumped the gun on this voting though since we haven't seen the next round or two of molds...

What? I already voted for limbs during the first round. I'm confused.

 

i don't think the numbers matter, since it's scramble city and the helicopter (or others) can be anywhere. which makes me REALLY disappointed that the choppah mold doesn't have an extra hinge on the rotor buttflap deal to give clearance for arm-shields and knee-saws, as a lack of these makes switching between arm and leg worthless unless a leg-bot dies.
but that's not at all about voting. i went:

sea of rust (how do you originate from rusty ruins and an energon lake? stasis pods? rusty undead? shockwave? probably shockwave.)

I'm holding out hopes the images are only suggests and not what the actual figures will look like.

 

Personally, I don't mind if the bots are repaints.

 

Autobots from Kaon, there's a lot of possibilities there. Former gladiators who have witnessed the brutality of the Decepticons firsthand? Or perhaps defectors?

Or, let's just face it, it's edgy.

 

Yeah, these are probably THE most interesting options we've been given so far. Everything is boooorinngggg...although I do like the teal...

 

I really figured this for a Caminus combiner (female or not), but given "Iacon, Kaon, Sea of Rust" as hometown options...

Although that mattered not at all for Windblade, so I guess we'll still see. Of course I'm in the cynical camp that the voting doesn't mater, and didn't for Windblade, and the decisions have already been made.

What I am interested in seeing is who puts these characters together, in-fiction. We know Screamer has Wheeljack working on the Aerialbots, and this new combiner will (apparently) be an Autobot. I wonder if they'll just trip across the Enigma, or if it will be deliberate - and, if it is, whose idea this new combiner will be. Surely not Optimus. Prowl already has a combiner at his disposal and wouldn't want to share that power around, I don't think. Windblade seems a likely culprit, or maybe Wheeljack gets a bit obsessed. Of course, Megs is an Autobot now, too. I know CW doesn't involve MTMTE, but maybe he'll make a cameo.

Sea of Rust (toss up really, for me. Kaon Autobots would be awesome but.... Drift-y... An Iacon combiner could be fun - buncha nerds all thrown together. But a combiner striding out of the Sea of Rust just sounds too good-looking [provided Ramondeli doesn't get to do the reveal].)

The neat thing is that given that these are probably all going to be retools/paints, we'll essentially be able to make all the possibilities ourselves, anyway.
