I do not see as much anti-fembot protests as the pro-fembot supporters make out to be. I like new things. Even though the molds will be the same as before, at least we get new characters. My question is how long these toys will take to go tot he shelves. Windblade was a new mold and it took over 2 years to produce it. Will it take that long for Victorion to visit store shelves? Or will it be like Generations Arcee and Chromia with limited distribution as the last wave of Combiner Wars in 2017?

 

can we add "female transformer" as one of the thing that TF fans claim to ruin transformer forever?

anyway, dont like female combiner, well there is superion, manesor, defensor, bruticous and deverstator to choose from.

 

There's a history full of things that were going to "ruin TFs forever," that ended up enriching the franchise in lasting ways. This will be no different. I sincerely hope this team is awesome enough that fans demand their inclusion in subsequent series.

 

I am hoping sales of these do well enough that Hasbro decides to later give us Firestar, Moonracer, Elita 1, Lancer, Beta, and Paradron Medic in the Generations line. Also, hopefully releasing them in a wave that actually makes it to retail shelves would be nice.

Let it not be known that I'm some kind of anti female Transformers Fan, I own a few, in fact I have purchased Windblade, StrongArm, Acree, among others and there a few designs that I'd buy immediately if I had the chance (Nautica!), but I'd like to give fans who feel disenfranchised a measured voice.

I think if we could see the progress of the voting, it would make a world of difference.

I must admit, Victorion would be the first female combiner, and that's a not a bad thing by any measure.

If we get all the rumored Combiners we'll have more than enough to choose from:
(Superion, Menasor, Defensor, Bruticus, Computron, Galvatronus (kinda counts), Victorion (The name sounds right to me)

-So either way, I believe we'll all sated.

Hopefully Victorian will have a few of these, My only fear is that they'll be randomly made up female bots when we have named bots waiting in the wings.

 

well i read it somewhere in this topic that Victorian will consist of 5 new characters. so no old character is going to be re-purposed like galvatronus...

Nothing confirmed, but it's very likely that Hasbro will do their full reveal of Victorion at their SDCC panel.

 

Im sure we will find out in July with the release of Combiner Hunters when Victorion goes up against Arcee, Chromia and Windblade. Im sure names will be dropped then.

Hasbro should just do a giftset in the vein of FOC Bruticus. If not, I'm sure sites like BBTS will have the individual figures packed together as an option to buy.

 

I was under the impression that Hasbro was gonna do individual releases alongside boxed sets for all teams except Devvy.
