Fallout 76 Is Already Discounted Significantly
This is probably my favorite review
Fallout 76 review: Buggier than a wet Saskatchewan summer
Oh sure, you don't "have to" pay as long as you're fine with not having access to everything in a buggy-ass, empty game you paid full retail price for in the same way you don't "have to" play it at all. I mean the game's pathetically short on content and new assets as it is, what's a few more things locked behind and arbitrary paywall?
When I pay for a game, I want the game. As in everything that was on that disk that I bought. Locking anything, cosmetic or otherwise, behind microtransactions is bullshit. Pure and simple nonsense. They want you to pay for something you already have just to get the full use out of it, rather than, say, unlocking it through gameplay like an actual game.
Microtransactions will never be defensible, because no matter how you slice it, they're shit already in the game that you bought that you are now being asked to pay extra for that could otherwise be available through gameplay means. Games never used to do them and would still have cosmetics as unlockables. It's not like these things can only exist as MTs, they chose to make them paid for because they know they can because someone out there will buy it and defend it.
This game is broken.
It’s kinda funny watching a train wreck like this one, but I hope Bethesda takes this as a wake up call. I like Bethesda as much as the next RPG fan, but they’ve been getting some free passes for a few years now. People have been complaining about their engine for years now. Hopefully, they change things up big time for Starfield. I’m still really excited about what that game could be because there’s a giant Mass Effect sized hole in my heart that Andromeda failed to fill.
I gotta agree with all of this. All of it.
Fallout 76 is already on sale
Performance analysis: Fallout 76's 47GB patch tested on all consoles
Almost picked this up on sale but that 47GB patch stopped it. I get bug fixes but for those of us who can only get internet with a data cap games like this just aren’t feasible.
Meanwhile, I'm over here enjoying the hell out of this game.
same its fun to explore and get new guns
To anyone who paid for this big collector's edition, is the bag really that shit?
This next sonic boom!
I am loving this shitshow. Not often a game fucks up so catastrophically. It's like a dream.
Sometimes it’s just fun to sit back and watch something burn to the ground.
Bethesda Fans Get Their Just Desserts. Todd Howard Guillotined For Canvas Bag Crimes.
Oh how Bethesda has fallen.
Man how this game is severely broken and I've been watching a ton of videos just "WoW". I'm really glad I'm not a 1st person gamer. I'm really sorry for the folks that bought this game and can't get it to work right.
