Revert back to the physics engine used in New Vegas. They changed it for Skyrim where you can't create huge piles of objects and kill cells.
Uh, for me, more of the same. Maybe add a system where you can have several teammates at once so you can have a bit more strategy to the battles. Oh, and if they did that, offer the ability to revive a teammate.
A main character that actually speaks. I love RPGs and been playing them since the days of Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy on the NES. But the one thing I came to really despise about RPGs is the whole silent protagonist thing some games employed. Neither via text in the old days or with voice acting in the modern era. That just needs to stop.
Main thing I'd want (and is unlikely to happen) is for the game to be written by Obsidian's writers. Story and dialogue was way better in New Vegas in my opinion.
1 Playable child and other races ghouls / cyborgs for instance. 2 try and work out bugs. i freeking lost 24 hours of game play once. 3 a buildable faction.
having a tiny, non-game breaking glitches. i would say no glitches at all but i believe that is asking for too much.
Able to play as a child. Better combat/shooting mechanics. And dual wielding. More New Vegas less Fallout 3 in terms of structure and writing Vehicles More than one companion at a time without having to mod the game less bugs please. please.
A decent stable frame rate would be my ask, got a bit choppy out there sometimes. Also, PC owners can do this already (I think) but I'd like console versions to have the ability to fix or edit save games, in FO3 I ended up carrying an item which hung the game everytime I went to the library to try and exchange books for caps... which was quite vexing at the time. Aside from that... mechanic wise I think FO:NV did a pretty good job updating FO3's (sometimes) clunky gameplay... hmm. Thinking about it I'd like a bit of a revamp on the third person mode actually. Playing ME/ME2/ME3 in one big playthrough has made me appreciate the changes the combat system went through in those games going from almost laughably bad (ME) to becoming pretty darn good. Fallout could do with new cover mechanics which can become active in 3rd person view and remain inactive in 1st person view... because now I remember combat being pretty much impossible without the VATS system.
A game engine that isn't held together with gum, staples, and scotch tape. Also, a Pacific Northwest/Canadian setting.
More of the same for me! Bethesda is a studio that has yet to make a game since Oblivion that I haven't loved more than breathing. Yeah the story of New Vegas was better and I liked the hardcore mode... so I guess that'd be on my wish list.
