Kind of prefer the older model, but this is still OK.

    Dear Hasbro,

WFC2 Prime must be a voyager or ultra size.

    Thank you.

I love it! Hopefully they release some of these designs alongside the Prime toyline. In fact, I'd actually rather have a full on FOC toyline rather than Generations. I love this new Optimus, and would gladly drop the money for a Voyager. I loved the Generations Optimus, and this looks like a similar type of thing.

Damn, I like him much more in those pictures. I hope I don't like the toy, if they make one. But I still like the old one better.

P.S.: I for one would rather have a full Generations and FOC line, than any movie or TFP toys.

I feel the same way. The concept art looks interesting, but the way he looks in the game itself is just awful. They dropped everything that made the original so great, and instead gave us a robot that looks like something Pat Lee came up with, down to the balloon-proportions. And while I like the idea of the 'fist with wheels' concept, the execution just makes it look like a generic Cybertronian vehicle with no style of it's own and, ironically, doesn't match the speed and strength of the original.

Epic fail. I hope that you can unlock the original body and play with that, like how you have different skins/costumes in other games.

I'm sure they'll gladly give people access to the models of their choice. As DLC.

The reason Optimus looks the way he does... as well as Megs and most of the other bots that youll see is not only because of newer, better graphics but to show that they have grown and matured. Remember... the Cybertron war between the Bots and Cons lasted a very long time.

Wow, watching that video, the designer was like saying everything like it was opposite day. The last game's design he was saying was more streamlined, less "raw", but not war torn? Does he know what these mean? He does have some more massive blockiness, though. I don't dislike the new design but his legs make his torso look too small when it was rotating around him, but I still think I like the first one's look so far more.

Oh WOW. That design is fucking STELLAR.

And the best part is, we're practically guaranteed a toy because it's fucking Optimus Prime.

Me too. I don't care what fancy name they've given the concept, it just looks like crap compared to the WFC design which for me is the best Prime has looked since G1.
