    Hi everyone,

Certainly been awhile since I've posted a custom of mine, spent the last few months learning a few new techniques with metal acrylics and enamels.

I wasn't going to start on the Planet X Dinobots until I got the main five, so let's start with PX-02 Caelus, also known as Fall of Cybertron Swoop! You'll be seeing this paint scheme on the other Dinos eventually; this was mostly done with Citadel Metals/Golds and Citadel Reds/Mr. Metallic Metal Red. He'll have nicer swords when I ship PX Triton with Mors and Jupitor. Enjoy!

    :popcorn

(A proper light box + studio is on it's way so I won't have to take crappy pics outside anymore :noob  )

Looks like a pewter figure. Is that the look you were going for?

Didn't really think of it that way, but I do suppose the way I paint metals (triple layer of metals), makes it look like pewter!

Interesting timing that you decided to paint this figure because I pulled my Caelus off the shelf a few weeks ago and started doing minor paint mods. I didn't paint any of the areas that might suffer from paint rub during transformation though and was wondering whether you've seen an issue with that - since you've repainted the whole figure?

Surprisingly not too many problem points for such an intricate figure. I recommend sanding the ribs part when you slide the shoulders down from robot to dino mode. It'll certainly grind the ribs otherwise. Same thing with the wing joints.
