So, what proves that is is a fake? The lack of an Autobot insignia on each shoulder? Anything else? I know I must be missing something else.

EDIT: Chrome differences around the elbow joint? I don't think the original had chrome there, just colored plastic.

I gathered as much, based on the thread title. I was more looking for the differences between the genuine article and this fake. Did my earlier post hit on some of them?

 

No gold plastic.

 

Must have Red Autobot symbols and also. The chrome joints, also.......that if you look closely is a SDCC Nemesis chromed gold.....I can go on if you need more

Doesn't even bother knowing/getting his facts right before he churned out a project like this.  

 

His response to me after showing him [email protected]'s page on the fake was that he bought it from ebay from a well respected member in the tf community and that it is a legit item because it was in a sealed takara box.....sigh.

 

Sounds like an uneducated idiot (if his story is true). The sad part is, though, someone might fall for his listing. Darn KOLDs.
