Could you be more specific about the scene that you're referring to?

The TF movies shouldn't even need this much cursing in the first place. It was based in a freaking KIDS' TOYLINE. I'm already picturing hundreds of our sons wanting to watch them when they're, like, 10 and us having to tell them, "We should wait until you're older" or "That's not really appropriate for you".

There are no words to describe how wrong that is.

Guess that's why PG stands for Parental Guidance... and why the PG-13 rating is aimed at kids OLDER than 10. Say, somewhere around 13.

    Yeesh.

No, it was in the theatre. Though I recall hearing "William, do something!" and I specifically recall liking that line, because it made sense to me that Lennox, Sam, and Mikaela would refer to each other by first name. Imagine my dissapointment when I saw it on DVD with subtitles, and lost that implicit character development.

I have nothing to add. This sums up my belief quite excellently.

    Arrrgghh.

I don't really care - I'd have loved it if they replaced one or two (not all) of the uses of "Dino" and "Que" with "Mirage" and "Wheeljack" just to mess around with our heads.

Yes. I thought that they were only referred to as "Que" and "Dino" in the film, not as "Wheeljack" and "Mirage".

My guess would be that the DVD version is the original version of the film. I would guess that at the last minute the f*cking was change to Freaking in order to preserve the pg-13 rating.

Yes there are movies with more uses of the f word that maintained a pg 13 rating but 2 f-bombs when compounded with the extreme violence in some of the scenes might have annoyed the board

I probably wouldn't have even noticed if not pointed out here

Where? I've watched the movie 3 more times in the past week (so 5 times in total so far) and I can't recall hearing either of them referred to as Mirage or Wheeljack anywhere. Though I clearly hear them called Que & Dino about two separate times each.

That's what he means. He wasn't saying they were called by their proper names twice, he was saying they were referred to by name twice each in the context of the film.

    "Dino,report to bay 23."
    "Dino,I got 'em!"
    "...Mah name's Q..."
    "We gotta go Q,come on!"
That's what I meant. I'd LOVE to see them dubbed as Mirage and Wheeljack though.

I want them DUBBED as Mirage and Wheeljack. The lines were
    "Dino,report to bay 23."
    "Dino,I got 'em!"
    "...Mah name's Q.."
    "We gotta go Q,come on!"

I was sceptical of this for some reason...but he does say it for sure. Odd change but at least it's not as bad a Greedo shooting first.

So, which version is the one to buy? I want the 3D, BR, DVD, all the bells and whistles. Should I just wait then until God knows when?
