EZ Collection G2 Optimus with sword - is it real?

    I was poking around ebay, and I found this auction for EZ Collection Optimus with the black legs and G2 symbol, but also the sword from the Dollar General Legends Optimus with the hole on top of the truck. I was not aware that this toy was ever released in the black legs/hole on top combo. Did this ever really happen?

    The metallic version of Convoy (Optimus) with the retooled GDO hands and roof is from the EZ Collection Gum release.

    The sword is from the variant of Hasbro's Dollar Store Optimus Prime you're already aware of.

    So sculpt/deco = Japanese release, sword accessory = US release.

    Okay, thanks! I didn't know that EZ version was the retooled mold. It all makes sense now.
