i thought i'd start this thread since kaszal asked about it on the FT10 Phoenix thread. ive bought a bunch of things from Sarah through the eYou Collection store and through facebook before she started the eYou Collection store website and i have had only positive experiences buying from her the entire time.

if there are shipping costs, its usually insignificant no matter where you are in the world (which is awesome when you are buying from Australia) compared to websites like BBTS, TF Source and Robotoy Base etc, which add dubious shipping costs just because the item destination is not somewhere within the USA or Canada.

i thought i'd drop some photos of a few of my purchases, showing the insane amount of protective packaging, some of the items boxes and the figures...

anyone else buying from eYou Collection? i hear theres a sale on at the moment.

 

no, never heard of this store, but I did bought from her ebay store before.

Edited: I checked the store, the price seems not as good as showz or Baba's store. I will stick with the latter two.

thats true, tho ive found that those stores can sell out of something pretty quick while eYou Collection might still have a few in stock, i got my Maketoys Visualizers and Yes Model Seekers by just asking her when they were sold out everywhere else. also that Grimlock was only $150 while those other stores are selling it for $180

 

i ordered the KO SS-38 from them last week.it was just cleared by US customs.. ill let you know

 

I like the way the first two packages are wrapped. Gives that throw-back '80s vibe.

 

Not a fan of stores that mark up products just because they're hard to find. Some of the items have a $100+ mark up. The first time I heard her name a lot was in a facebook group that I was told was run by resellers.

she did a Facebook live video a couple months ago where she showed how she wraps up those packages as well as a few unboxings

 

Some of these retailers are getting stock from the open market, not direct from the manufacturer so they aren't necessarily simply marking them up due to them being hard to find but rather the fact that they themselves are paying more to procure them...

 

Ive been buying from them since they were on facebook only. Prices went up when they opened the store.

 

that is my understanding also, she has explained as much when she listed FT Phoenix a few months back.

i havnt paid $100+ mark up for anything ive bought from her, and i believe the DX9 Gabriel was cheapest on her store at the time i purchased it. i know now that BBTS were selling it for a great price, if i were to have bought it through them, they would have added $100 to ship to Australia, eYou Collection shipping cost was just under $20 and arrived in 7 days time, the fastest delivery ive had from anyone that wasnt sending from within Australia.

Got my order but it's broken and two optional left hands. Was wrapped and package well but the corner clam shell was broken inside . Trying to contact them for replacement parts but it takes a while for them a while to reply back

Best wrapped package ever was KO OS warbotron from her.

 

If the outer packing was fine but the figure inside the manufacturer packaging was not, that isn't really their fault. Sounds like the ko company who made it sent them a turd and you were unlucky enough to get it.

As for sarah, she has helped me find things that were not available anywhere with very little markup. She found me a FT Lupus after stock dried up for a great price and has good after sale service.

 

I bought from Sarah before on Facebook. All went well and I would buy from her again.

it looks like the two left hands are manufacturer error, the smoke stack could have also been. the package has protectors on the corners of the outside box but if you throw it around hard enough, the inside is the one thats going to absorb the impact just like in football where the brain abosorb the impact either way im kinda disappointed that i message them on fb and twitter last thursday night and i have not receive any response or acknowledgement that they are looking into it. this is my first time ordering from them. im hoping they can help me out since i really like this figure but its broke.

 

same, thats how i got my Maketoys Visualizers and Yes Model Seekers and with practically no mark up as ive seen those things re-issue since for very similar pricing.

i gave her a heads up about this thread last night and mentioned that you have received a damaged item, but it was late and hopefully she'll get on to it this afternoon
