I would have to agree to putting a helmet on before battle. I like the battle mode faces. From what I have seen, it gives them a more warrior like look.
From what I can tell. Although, for Ironhide, we have not seen a battle mask/non mask comparison. That does not mean that he does not have a battle mask, just that we may not have seen it yet.
we have seen ironhide's, he has a prime-style faceplate. we havent seen ratchet's FINAL one, and we havent seen quite a few of the decepticons' ones, but i suppose its safe to assume that they have them? heres ironhides,.. odd that he isnt wearing it when hes doing his barrel roll though, perhaps they changed it
I heard one of the designers comparing Optimus Prime's face to the of a knight's armored helmet. I think that might be what the fx people are going with. The idea that these are warring soldiers, or knights, so for me it's easier to see them as wearing combat gear.
In the reveal of the onesheets the writers stated that they allways saw the Transformers, especially the Autobots as armored knights. Battlemask = helmet vizor.
I forgot Bumblebee had a battle mode face. It makes since to have a batlte mode face. You go out to fight you don't want your face banged up, and when you go home at night you don't want to resemble the warrior you were in battle. You wanna relax! You do so by removing battle helmet, NOT your face. you-is rhetorical. I presume everyone here is a robot with a gun, right?
Don't know about you, but I have a double barrel blaster and front armor thick enough to stop tank shells.
Well, I don't have a separate gun if thats what your asking. I have two large weapons the flip around from my back and on my shoulders. My alt mode is a spacecraft from my home planet of Lithone, which was unfortunately devoured by Unicron.
