Wait, they want to build robots that will evidently be reasonably/fairly intelligent, humanoid, emotional, etc. The best possible use they can think of for it is a sex toy?

I think it has something to do with the that fact that most people would rather have sex with something that looks, feels, smells, tastes, sounds, emotes like a human being than a domesticated barnyard animal.

I may be entirely wrong here, though.

 

Yeah.. I don't know. I mean it's like.. :\ if they have some level of self-awareness that would be like raping a animal or child.. kind of? I imagine they'd be pretty innocent and all.
I mean I understand people have fetishes and there's nothing wrong with that because you can't control it. But what makes it bad is like.. when you bring it into real life and there stands the possibility of someone/thing/a self-aware being being hurt in some way.. then it's wrong.
If that makes any sense. I mean would they know what they're doing and what it means...?
