So when reading these books, who, in your mind, voices each one? Obviously there are some characters whose voices we really havent heard, and others who have classic voices. So I ask-what do you picture for each Transformer? For me: Orion Pax (up until the excerpt from the Covenant)-Gary Chalk style voice Optimus Prime (post covenenant section) Peter Cullen Jazz-G1 style/animated mix, perhaps a little more anxious than animated Omega Supreme-Animated style Ratchet-Jeffery Combs Ironhide-Movie voice Sideswipe-Movie voice Bumblebee-Animated BB for a while there Ultra Magnus-Animated Jetfire-WFC style Cliffjumper-Dwayne The Rock Johnson Springer (did he talk?)-Nathan Fillion, just because ^_^ Megatron-Frank Welker, Prime style Soundwave-G1 voice (dont remember his minicons talking) Shockwave-G1/animated Barricade-movie Lugnut-Animated, little more grovelly Starscream-Prime style Sentinel Prime-Nimoy Bulkhead-Prime style Silverbolt-undecided Thats all I really remember, and i think each voice fits quite nicely. hbu? oh! and Anthony Hopkins as Alpha Trion. Just sticks in my mind like that lol

I have yet to read it, but I'll let you know when I do. I can already tell you what voices will probably end up making it into my personal cast by what voices have attached themselves to characters in other books that I've read previously. Also, when I read TF fic, random voices will attach themselves to characters who don't have big roles/don't have memorable voice actors/etc. The voices that usually show up in one way or another are: Jason Momoa (usually as Thundercracker. He has that deep, sexy voice. ) Claudia Black (has never shown up in TF fic before-- probably because there aren't a lot of femmes to begin with, let alone ones without "American" accents-- but she shows up almost everywhere else-- especially in Iain M. Banks novels-- so I wouldn't be surprised if she showed up in the TF books) Jennifer Hale (usually as Arcee or another strong, badass female character) David Hayter (doing his Solid Snake voice. Seriously, he shows up when I least expect it.) Also, sometimes Prowl sounds like Teal'c. >_>; Don't ask.
It was funny. While I read Exodus, I imagined everyone looking like their G1 selfs or like WFC or IDW. But somehow G1, and of course they had their respective voices. When I read Exiles, it somehow partially did not match anymore for everyone. The guys like Starscream, Megatron and Shockwave became their TFP counterparts and had their respective voices.
