The G2 Dreadwind/Smokescreen exclusive was the same way, with Smokescreen trapped in a plastic bag in robot mode before being twist-tied in place. :lol

One of the twist ties on my Dreadwind actually broke in transit, so he wasn't completely secured in place. Thankfully, no damage was done. My guess is that the Jazz mold, being somewhat lighter in weight, would be less likely to burst his bonds.

But I agree that an opaque box makes for a very boring package. (I'm still trying to acquire some boxes for certain BotCon figures to display them more nicely.)

Matches all other United Exclusive packaging (the two 3 Packs and the Darkside 2 Pack).

I started work on mine in December. I drilled a 5mm sized hole on the roof for my extra Nightstick to peg into, modified the speakers with lego pegs so Nightstick could also attach to either one, and primed it black. It's sitting in my walk-in. Wouldn't take much to finish it. The only real expense was buying an extra RTS Jazz for $14.99 at Walgreens. I already had everything else.

^Well if I had that, I'd be very happy too!

Why do you need so many eye-wares when you can only wear a pair at a time?! Plastic robot action figures FTW :p

OK I know nothing about fashion :(

    Ebay:
Can people from the US buy the book and mail in for the exclusive without paying out the @$$, or do you have to be from Japan?

I still haven't got a definitive answer to this.

You can order it from places online, but it's not something Barnes & Noble will have if that's what you're wondering.

Sorry that I don't have a definitive answer, but my impression was that you have to be a Japanese resident to order Stepper.
