I see a few EX-02 Sonic Convoy sets for $138 on Ebay. Is that a good price for this set? Also I know it's a TRU exclusive but does anyonw know how "rare" it is?

 

$138 shipped sounds like a very good deal to me. Plus shipping is pretty average for the set but still good, its worth the money no question. I bought the set when it first came out and its worth every penny.

As to how rare it is, I would imagine he’s rare enough as in he’s pretty much eBay only but not like uber-rare. As I understand it each Japan TRU only got X number of sets per store and that was it. In terms of how many were actually produced I have no idea.

 

get somebody to cast and copy your coby rumble if you get one   I'll buy the copy from ya *L*

  The sad part is this might be the only way I can get the Scrapmetal/Ramble mold. Friggin our stores still have Brushguards and company. That mold gets a repaint but the mold most likely to get shorpacked/troop built doesn't.  

 

On eBay about $150-160 from Asia plus like $50 shipping and around $180-200 plus shipping from places like JRS Toys, BBTS, etc.... Cheapest I saw from an online store was Super Cow at $160 plus shipping.

So in other words around $200 shipped.

I think the Japanese TRU's are having a sale on Galaxy Force toys. One seller on eBay is listing Megalo Convoys and Sonic Convoy sets like crazy ... When my brother's Megalo arrived ... it was wrapped in 1 sheet of bubble wrap and a plastic TRU bag.

I bought mine from Amenbo.co.jp when it first came out for $150 shipped. Although, I did see a seller at a Collectable show down here in SoCal selling some for $100 each. If I didn't have 1 already I would have have bought one from him.

Anyone just want the Wing Saber/ Sonic Bomber (whatever) and Coby Ramble? Cause I just want that Clear Convoy, we can split the set up!   Hell, you can even keep the box!

 

I just bought the coby rumble off ebay, I have Gf Convoy and Sonic Bomber and am not impressed enough with them to buy overpriced repaints.

Seeing how prices have dropped I kind of regret spending $50 on the rumble, i should have bought the set and sold the other parts off, oh well.

I got mine for $165 shipped and thought that was a pretty good deal at the time, so $140ish is even better. Though I understand they've gone clearance in Japan so they should be cheaper than they were at first. Of course compared to the $200 or so the stores are charging for them, $140 is a steal.

You know the trailer isn't clear though, right? Just the cab part.

 

Ouch man, can't believe someone would ship an item like that , especially one as expensive as that.

I just want the damned Coby Rumble, but the Wingsaber would be nice, I havn't gotten him yet and I think the red looks just a little better than the gold... but I'd be happy either way, as long as I get a sonic bomber and somehow get that coby rumble..

Although mine was an opened item, I was able to get mine for $113 shipped and everything was included and in beautiful condition (even the package and the internal packaging material).

For a sealed one that one from Tempting Toys sounds like a good deal, plus there in the US.
