I mean, fire trucks are one of the most beloved vehicle toys, you'd think there'd be more of them in Transformers. I know there's Inferno and Hot Spot and fire convoy are the heavy hitters, but that's about it. And even then the toys tend to be smaller or slim or limited somehow.

^ Agreed, firetrucks are great and all, but there are ,any other vehicles that aren't used nearly as often as cars, trucks, copters and jets.

There's Pyro or whatever his name is. DOTM Sentinel. Smolder is fun to have around. Cybertron OP (a stretchy one). Lots of little ones, as you say. The thing is, emergency vehicles are as uniform as the uniforms, a bunch of different looking ones makes everything look catastrophic and is detrimental to 'the disguise aspect'!

 

I don't know. I'm more wondering why there aren't more Taxi Transformers.

There was a proposed remold of the original Powermaster Optimus Prime into a fire truck version of Rodimus Prime. it's too bad it never got made.

 

I guess, though, I think Overcharge also counts as one... So, that's basically two. Still, i'd would love to see a Taxi-themed Figure that use the CW Prowl/Smokescreen version of the Streetwise mold.

The firefighter in me is covered pretty well as far as Transformers go, sadly my School Bus driving side may never be satisfied.... Of course there was a chinese KO school bus/robot thing a while back...

Optibus Prime?

 

Heatwave is basically the face of Rescue Bots, with a ton of merchandise and toys and even appearances outside of a rescue Bots that appeal to kids, like Angry Birds Transformers. Honestly I think he's making up for any previously perceived lack of fire trucks.

 

Inferno, Hot Spot, Artfire, Hosehead, Red Hot, G2 Spark, RiD Prime, Cybertron Prime, DotM Sentinel Prime. Pyra Magna...

I don't know, seems like they get a decent representation throughout the years.
