This happens to me all the time with Beast era figures because I remember playing with the toys the other kids in school had.

 

Nope, I still remembered which figures I had even when I lost interest in TFs.

 

once, i thought i had 16 wreck-gars. i only have 15. i regret opening my last one thinking i had an even number of them. i'm missing a rider now. that was about half an hour ago. sigh.

I'm probably getting around 5-7 of each Prime Vehicon type but DAMN!

 

Can't say I've ever thought I bought something when I didn't, it's more like this situation-

To this day I'm still convinced I have an issue of Nextwave, which I can't find anywhere. I remember reading it as well.

 

Sometimes the exact opposite, usually with smaller figures like legends. A few times I picked up a few to buy and my wife was like don't we already have those. Then It clicked oh yeah I already have Oil Pan.

 

Yeah, Figures for my 40 or so transformers are easy to remember,but my hundreds of comics? Fugitabotit

 

I'm not sure but I may have accidentally Sold my Nemesis Breaker & Cybertron Soundwave.... which if I did I'll be kicking myself over very much.

Nope. Even with my small army of mini-cons I know EXACTLY which ones I'm missing and which ones I have.

Well, we're getting the retool as a later Generations release, so you can get one of him to pick up the missing rider you need.

Or you can take the extra Wreck-Gar and several of the rider/bike combos and stage one of those circus motorbike performances, with the bike-less Wreck-gar being the ringmaster.

 

Nope. It's usually the other way around.

 

You know your collection is really huge when such is the case.  

 

Hha well, this happens to me with Yugioh cards once in a while (especially since I REALLY need to organize my shit), but never with toys of any kind. If there's something I have or don't have, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt.

 

I've done it with DVDs but never a Transformer.
