I mean there have been TF's of everything else for gods sake why not buses?
Post other alt modes that Transformers should be able to Transform into but never had.

 

There was a third party company (European, i think?) that produced, or was going to produce, a Bus TF.


I also have this random memory that there was a Machine Robo bus which never made it to the Gobots line. But i may be wrong.

 

Perhaps they don't want to scare the little kids. lol

There was a transforming bus robot in some japanese knockoff line or another, its head looked like ironhide's, but I'm at a complete loss for the name.

 

Probably because bus toys don't sell as well as sports cars, truck, and military vehicles.

I've also noticed a lack of UPS style trucks as well.

I believe there was a german university whose students made a transforming bus you could buy.

I think maybe Hasbro thinks kids wouldn't want to play with buses. Only big trucks and sports cars. Hell, before the movies, there were very few alt modes with four doors

 

Yeah, I agree. If I were a kid, I'd much rather have a figure like Hot Rod or Sideswipe than a bus.

^Then again, that's pretty frickin cool right there.

 

If there's a market for toy buses, I don't see why there wouldn't be a market for transforming toy buses.
