Can't say I have as my collection right now is very small. Wish someone would make a app for keeping track of TF's.

 

I think I bought ROTF/HFTD Elita-1 twice as I forgot I'd bought her in the first place likewise Dlx GF Cybertron Optimus Prime I bought one and then couldn't remember if I'd got the logo on non logo one as i'd misplaced it so I ended up having to boy another one of each as I was unsure.... I did find the original one eventually and it looks like it was the non logo one.

I'm still not 100% sure if I ever bought an RID Galvatron or for that matter a boxed RID Megatron or not I know i've got Devil Gigatron & Gigatron but I can't recall if I ever got the other one or not in a box - I've since got both as Bootsale junkers but that if anything just confused me all the more as to if I ever bought them or not in Hasbro guise.

But other than that the only thing I can't remember is which version or versions I bought of the Black Bat Onyx Primal and which Beast Wars second toys I got in single packs and which came in twin packs.

The greatest mystery though is where the heck is my BW2nd Megastorm figure... I remember buying it and playing with it but i've not seen it now since about 2000ad. It's vanished in to thin air. (perhaps it got put in a cupboard with some Megazords or it's in with my Webdivers) but its certainly not in with the Transformers.

I'd also forgotten that i'd bought a Hasbro Magmatron until I was writing this. basically if I've bought a Japanese version first then they make a Hasbro one afterwards I might forget to open the Hasbro one and then no remember I bought it in the first place sometimes.

I'm not as scatter brained as I sound I just have over 2000 of them so sometimes it's hard to remember which ones are which.

 

Um, no. My collection is too small.

 

Almost accidentally re-bought Universe Red Alert, WFC Soundwave and several Robot Heroes packs before remembering at the last minute that I already had them.

 

Not lately with Transformers since I'm actually into the stuff again, but it's always a nice feeling to stumble upon something in storage that I haven't seen in a long time, such as my little Zbot combiner that I'd totally forgotten about until a few months ago.

I've never bought the same thing twice though, haha.

 

Toys? No. Instructions? Yes. Buying duplicates isn't fun.

 

G1 Wheeljack is probably still somewhere in Epcot Center, Florida. MIA since 1984-5 when I was but a wee lad. DX

Luckily, Generations Wheeljack (with 539 Reprolabels) makes a pretty darn good replacement/stand-in!

 

It'll take Alzheimer's for me not to remember I own a toy.

 

while i don't forget i own a toy when it comes to buying, i'll not even think about the toy unless i see it or something or i am focus on something else, but i have never accidentally rebought the same toy

 

We bought two Animated Waspinators and Wreck-Gar's in the same week.
Steve bought a yellow Galaxy Force Ramble several years after we had it.

 

I forget which ones I've sold more than which ones I've bought.
Makes it a real problem when I'm hunting for parts or "that one particular
guy I just KNOW I have!"

GI Joes are another story... too many troop builders, lost track of
what I've got.

 

not got enough to forget   but i do it with my vinyl all the time and sometimes end up buying that record again...always a nice surprise to find one that i have forgot and not played for ages when crate digging whilst doing one of my radio shows

Also, I remember buying the old comics when I was younger & having my dad constantly think I was gonna buy the same one twice. The thing is though, since we didn't have internet or anything back then (let alone friends who were also into the TF comics), I had no way of remembering a cover well enough without owning it, so I always managed to pick out that I didn't have.

 

I only forget about the old Transformers from my childhood. I sometimes stumble upon them on the internet and remember "Ah yes, I have that one too!"

I forgot I had the Cybertron repaint of Armada Prime until recently.

 

Yup, a few of the 2007 movie figures. Back then I would pretty much buy anything new, and after storing them MOSC, I opened up a storage box the other day and rediscovered a few I forgot I had.

 

nope, not yet anyways, once my collection gets bigger, i might have to get a spreadsheet

 

Mostly older Beast era figures. I have a box or two left to pull down from the attic, though it'll take some time to reach them.

 

Nope, I have 645 TFs, and I've never forgotten anything.
