Title says it all.

Yesterday I got home from vacation a forgot about my DOTM DLX Jolt. Anyone else ever feel like this?

 

TF 2007 Protoform starscream, found him in the bin of the forgotten toys   Along with movie jazz and wfc optimus and bumblebee.

Cybertron Defence Hot Shot.

 

Generations Straxus. He was missing his pickaxe blade and a clip weapon so I just didn't bother

 

Because I had sold (or traded, I think) my G1 deco movie Mixmaster I had completely forgotten that I owned the Hoist figure (Longarm redeco) that came with him, until just last week!

 

I constantly forget I own all three classics coneheads, which baffles me as I quite like them, but for some reason always think I never bought them all.

 

I always buy duplicates, but not on purpose. New toys only though.

 

Universe inferno put him in a bin moved and I randomly found my cousin playing with him I said where did he get that from.....

Took me two days to figure out

 

A long time back I had put my Spychanger RID Optimus Prime in a plastic baggie along with some Gundam figure, left it in a drawer and forgot about 'em.

One move and four years later I rediscover them while searching for something else. They are now displayed in their proper places.

 

I often forget that I own Cybertron Metroplex... odd considering he's the tallest toy in my collection.

 

as i was decommissioning my TF collection here to make way for a new baby taking over my former office, i was pleasantly surprised to discover i have Erector and Tigertrack...

I do his some times when out on "the hunt" or browsing the BST areas. In the BSTs its not so bad cuz I can just open up my spreadsheet and look, but when I'm out of town on the hunt its a bitch sometimes; trying to decide to pass on a first or buy hen because you can't remember if I have it or not. I should add that this doesn't normally happen with major characters but with the secondary characters it can be kinda hard to keep track of them all.

 

I don't remember toys by the character, but I do remember the toy itself. I've got an amazing physical memory, so I never have to transform a toy more than once before I remember how to do it forever, I never forget if I own that mold of a figure, I can nearly immediately tell differences between versions of molds, etc.

However, I kept forgetting I had the Star Wars: Clone Wars R4-P17 figure.... I ended up buying.... nine of them? I had been hunting for it for so long it became an instinct buy.

 

It's happened a couple times with various things in my sizable toy collection. The only TF I've forgotten owning is Animated Lockdown, who is in the back of a dark shelf in my display. It was a somewhat impulsive buy when TRU had a bunch of Animated figures for like half price.

 

One statement certainly does not support the other here!  

 

I forget I have toys all the time.

 

I forgot I had animated elite guard Bee such that I thought i didn't have and brought him 3 times.

 

I had forgotten, until recently, I had Classics Ramjet. I just happened to be looking through a box the other day, and there he was staring right back at me. I had totally forgotten about him.

 

I forgot I still had Energon prime's trailer. Now I'm just selling it.
