If anyone is in the Belden Village area, you had better stop in the local TRU. They got a shipment of movie Transformers in. I picked up Bumblebee, Jazz, and Brawl, but they also had Bonecrusher and a red car (didn't catch the name and I don't know who it is sorry).

I wasn't aware that movie Transformers were released yet, but then again, I haven't came here for a long time.

Nice find! I think the red car must have been Swindle, he is the only red car I know of in the Movie line.

I remember them doing the same thing with the Gozilla toys. A friend of mine worked at Wally World at the time and they just threw them out on the shelf as soon as they arrived. They put them out something like 6 weeks before what was supposed to be the street date. Retailers don't care anymore, they don't want to carry any overhead...it's that simple.

Well if he's a MISB/MOSC kind of guy you're SOL.

The Toys R Us store near me here in the Bay Area broke the imposed street date as well. They received their shipment on Friday and they were on the shelves yesterday morning. They did this with Spider-Man and some Episode II Star Wars as well.

K-mart is also a good place to start looking.

Of course, you try going to Walmart and Target and they'll be locked out. At my store, SM3 toys were locked out until the street date, and I assume the same will be with Transformers.

Damn you TRU! Now waiting is even harder (closest store is nearly two hours away)!

 

Im definetly going to my TRU on wendsday when they restock. Apparently my stored had them too but they sold out in less than 2 hours. =( Stockboy was huffing and puffing because even he couldnt pick one up   This just proves this stuff is leaking out and people need to start hunting.
