When Prime was in evasion mode,he fights with Lockdown, and OP wins Lockdown and can escape and save the humans, but when he was in knight mode,he fights again with lockdown, and he ended up nailed to the wall, pierced by his own sword. This makes me wonder, what version is stronger?

Optimus did not win, he just sort of ran away and held his own out of self-defense. On the other hand, I thought it was established that Optimus's human toe licking is what nearly cost him his life. Gladly Lock-Down aimed somewhere below his chest and not his spark.

I still think Lockdown intended to somehow get Optimus back to the Creators, which may explain why he didn't fully kill him right then and there.

As much as Lockdown probably wanted to kill Optimus for making off with the Knights, he still had a bounty to collect.

He survived because of plot convenience. Knight Prime should have died from that stab AND when he was shot by Lockdown. Evasion Prime was just lucky that there was a conveniently placed cable to tangle Lockdown up in.
Overall, I think they're evenly matched if they had to fight each other. Evasion Prime is a weapon specialist and Knight Prime is a melee specialist.

The shell from Lock-down was mean't to weaken or nullify Optimus Primes energy, it wasn't mean't to kill him. Theoretically though he's supposed to be alive as requested by the Creators.

Yeah, Lockdown wanted him alive, so he made sure to only aim just next to the spark, never a direct hit to it.

Again the only reason he got beat at the end my Lockdown was because he decided to save Cade.

I think even the most badass warrior when distracted can be taken out. It was a fight to the death that he let himself be distracted during and he damn near paid for it with his spark lol.

Knight Prime paused in the middle of the fight to save Cade. It left Lockdown with the opening to nail him to the wall.

Evasion is the old rusty G1 flatnose. Knight is the new western star truck. Specifically the knight part happens when he grabs the sword from the prison ship and his arms transform to reflect his upgrade it's also when he get's the boosters and is capable of flight.

The alt mode, the resistance, the strength.

Evasion Prime is falling into pieces, weak (but still a great runner, he can outrun Lockdown) and his robot design is the same from the previous movies. Turns into a Marmon flatnose rusty truck.

Knight Prime is healed, strong and his robot design is based on a knight. He also upgrades to a even more knight-looking mode, the supposed "Silver Knight", making him stronger than earlier. Turns into a Western Star badass truck.

Basically, Evasion Prime is a Prime standing on the edge trying to keep alive, while Knight Prime is a Prime fighting for revenge and, why not, freedom.

Ohhhh ok. I prefer the Evasion design from the first three films. I thought he upgraded when he was driving down the road to meet the other Autobots. Boy did I not get this movie lol.

Yep. The dying, parts falling off, heavily damaged and wounded Prime is exactly the same strength and ability as the newer, upgraded, repaired and undoubtedly stronger Prime.

But you gotta admit in Evasion mode he was falling into pieces, what made him disadvantaged weak. When he changed his vehicle mode he magically got healed and became a bit stronger, 'cause his parts kept in place.

EDIT: Nope, no magic. Just my bad memory. My bad.

I think he was healed, because he got more parts. All of the things that were falling off, were being replaced. Think of a snake shedding. All of the old skin falls off, but the new skin is replaced.

Evasion mode was quite nostalgic and I found it quite odd that he was falling apart in that form but as soon he acquired knight mode, he was like brand new. Not to mention his knight form puts his '07-'11 model to shame.

He just needs to make sure there is a stack of trucks for him to rescan every time he's about to die. Back to back to back UPgrades!!!!
