It's been a reported issue with several other Evasion Primes. IIRC, it has something to do with that piece being attached only by a thin piece of clear plastic. I don't know of any way to fix the issue besides maybe some super glue or exchanging it for another one in store. :(

Yes, I've seen several reports about it. It's got me scared to transform mine out of truck mode. I've heard that deluxe Crosshairs shares a similar issue as well due to some parts being connected by thin clear plastic.

Got mine today and broke it the same way. Tried fixing it with plastic cement but I'm going to wait a day or two before testing it.

Such a fine toy yet brittle, :(  this could easily equal the classic voyager and 1st ed voyager TF prime but now I guess its not anymore. Hasbro should really take a note of this to avoid anymore exchange of defective toy for a new one.

Sorry that this happened to you, dude. How about if you keep the figure in robot mode permanently?

Since it's the clear plastic that seems to be the culprit, I'll gladly take a running change doing away with the clear windows in truck mode and trade them for some solid blue plastic windows.

Because you're not as neurotic as the rest of us? :)

Hard to tell exactly where it broke from the pictures, hopefully you can find the piece that came off and super-glue it back on, then re-attach it with the pin.

Good to be know to be more careful with that part. It's tricky to transform the arms around that part sometimes.

It's certainly useful to have the warning. But as more reports of this occur it's kinda putting me off buying the figure. Pity as it's been the only figure I definitely wanted from the AoE line.

Just go buy a new one and return the old one on the same receipt as broken. As long as you aren't manhandling the figure or abusing it, it falls into the manufacturer defect category IMHO.

It's just too bad that this design defect wasn't found before they announced 4-5 different repaints. Using normal instead of clear plastic would probably eliminate the issue.

I had the same thing happen, fixed with superglue. It's annoying but not a big deal.
