    I have never really read any GI Joe except for the previous crossovers with Transformers.

    But I really liked this issue and Destro in this issue. I thought this book series had been slow, but this issue really felt like it set the table.

    Astoria having the FLUKE (emp) powers I think is pretty interesting.

    I think I need to re-read, but the BATS and this Overkill are Gi Joe characters, but in the EU are infused with Cybertronian technology?

    This issue felt like watching a Saturday Morning Cartoon.

    I was curious what the more fervent Gi Joe fans thought?

    These Destro issues have been fuckin' awesome, and making Overkill into an Ultron-esque AI is a pretty bold direction for him that I'm very much in favor of.

    Making Chameleon (whose backstory is kind of a mess as is) Astoria is also great way to tie these worlds together.
