SO glad I came across this thread! Just got the game a couple of weeks ago (still haven't finished the autobots campaign yet). And was interested in taking advantage of the 10xEXP this weekend, but my worst fear at this point for multiplayer is letting down teammates because i have no clue what i'm doing. You guys have really given some great tips! Maybe I'll just try playing some solo "multiplayer" to familiarise myself and then in a few more weeks (or month...) maybe i'll see you guys in a real game! Cheers!

Last night I was play solo on Forsaken and got to wave 7. I died because I had 4 seekers laying into me and nowhere to run for cover. I was in a spot where nothing else could hit me, so I didn't have to worry about getting meleed on top of that, but there was no way I was gonna survive 4 seekers. I was using Air Raid and camped out on one of the cables over the energon pool over near where one of the pipes is pouring it into the pool. There's a little tiny but of ledge on the side where nothing has access to you unless it's flying and that's where the seekers got me.

I got pretty far today with Dead End in District. I kept hiding behind the block in front of the respawn door on the bridge. Survived til wave 8. If you ever feel like playing by yourself, your really need someone that turns invisible. It helps a lot.

No Problem dude. You know, there's a whole other thread dedicated to providing fans with ideas on how to strategize on Escalation. You might want to check it out.

20 waves in Broken Hope with Air Raid.

It's a breeze. You just gotta know how to make the most of his ability to fly to get some doors open. If you camp on the highest portion of the bridge you can pretty much take out everything effortlessly.

Pick up a Photon Burst Rifle and a Scrapmaker and the rest is walk through the park. Getting ammo and overshields is easy if you cloak to stock up. You can alternate between the high point on the main bridge and the smaller one directly underneath it, occasionally, but it's not safe with one person when the portals open.

Keep some healing grenades in your pocket to get out of any messy situations. The only real concern you will have are those spurts of Rocketeers and Jets but you should quickly get a feel for when they appear and how to effectively take them out. I often joke about being able to do 50 waves alone in Broken Hope but I get really bored after 15 waves. The only thing that drives me is my greedy desire for points but that can only take me so far before I just die to get it over with... it does go by faster with 1 friend and I have done 27 waves with 1 friend in both Broken Hope and District before another friend joined us.
