I was watching some clips on YouTube last night (yes, I have to wait until the DVD/BR release to see the film in it's entirety), and noticed an error. More an error on the part of the writing (big surprise, right?  ). Anywho, when Optimus says how he "sensed the presence of Megatron", Cade replies "you mean the Decepticon who started the Chicago war?"

Unless I'm forgetting something from DOTM, wouldn't most casual civilians have not even really been aware of Megatron? It was Sentinel who made the tv broadcast demanding that the Autobots be banished from the planet, not Megatron. Hell, even in ROTF it was The Fallen who, also via a tv broadcast, made the world at large aware of their presence.

How would Cade know immediately who Optimus is talking about?

 

Good question. Maybe humans knew of him due to survivors of that day telling stories of him & the terror etc. ( they must have heard of him in the city)

 

It is possible the government explained everything. By the time of AOE, the whole of humanity has known about the Transformers for several years.

 

True. I would imagine the government and/or Attinger would have put together and released to the public a nice informational package Re the Transformers and key players to ensure that whatever happens next the public sees it the way Attinger and Co wants them to see it.

People would have been asking questions after the Chicago event. That would have been a good time for information to be released and Megatron could have easily been mentioned by name etc.

 

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I've heard that Barricade had an appearance in KSI. Is this true? He was obviously dead due to him being shot apart in dotm.

 

No. They meant that he was shown on computer screens, aka recycled footage from DOTM.


Man, just the thought of all these guys (Barricade, Starscream, Megatron, ect) you've come to know and love getting melted down...

 

The movie had a lot of CGI errors.

 

The Fallen, when he flies up to the Pyramids, or when he swoops down for the Matrix, but is that really an alt mode?

Ironhide and the original five, transform in the same group shot, but Ironhide is mostly obscured by Bumblebee. Is there another?

The Twins transform during upgrade time, but they are also veiled by those shower curtain/door thingies, and all you see are flashes of light.

That sucks   It's like the G1 movie, you have all the season 1-2 toys then they all get killed and get replaced with guys out of the blue

I know it's much-debated & I'm only going by what I see...after The Fallen steals the matrix from prime he warps away and keeps warping towards the pyramids while changing into his jet mode...it's far off in the distance while prime is trying to get to his feet...its a really cool shot i feel.

as far as i can remember that is indeed the only time we see ironhide transforming into his alt mode "Roll Out!"

& the twins yep that's the scene im counting...its the only time we get to hear their transformation sound & does take place behind the dividers..i was debating whether or not to include them but technically you do see them go into alt mode only it's a little different since they change designs at the same time.

trying to think of any that i missed...i know a couple of nameless decepticons transform in DC but if they're not gonna care enough to name them then neither will i  

 

yes i thought of this as well...it's tragic, really...barricade survives all that time just to be taken down by humans and then melted down for scrap..damn it! filthy humans

*i understand some of these are questionable but im trying to take into account artistic liberties...as in some of these are only intentionally obscured, etc..

although while i count partial transformations in some cases, usually only if it's at the beginning not the end...some examples of this would be:

DIDN'T COUNT-Jazz transforming on the bridge after Bumblebee's capture or Bumblebee transforming inside the Hoover Dam or Lockdown after killing Ratchet, etc.

COUNTED-Rampage beginning to transform in Egypt, Bumblebee partially shown transforming in the desert, etc.


(also not counting no-name transformers like the vehicons, the kitchenbots, the watchbot, that phone transformer, the mountain dew bot, nameless decepticons in dc, etc..)

When did Que transformed?

 

When the Autobots arrive in Chicago, you can see him briefly transforming in the background after Bee's transformation.

 

I'm not sure if this was mentioned as I don't want to sift through all of these pages to find out:

In the KSI lab where they are checking ID badges looking for Cade, there are computer monitors in the background displaying the Megatron schematic from the Hoover Dam scene in the first movie when Frenzy disables the cryo-stasis system. It is the old version of him, which didn't exist at the time of the events of AOE.

 

when drift transforms for the first time you can see he puts 1 of his blades for his helicopter mode into it's rotor manually..which is pretty bad ass

during the autobot reunion scene the following occurs:
crosshairs threatens the humans
drift & bumblebee threaten one another
hound threatens drift

& it can be argued, optimus prime just laid out a threat to humanity

 

When Lockdown shoots Optimus:

Also during this scene, some weird man with a striped shirt is running away from shane.

Cade isn't even wearing a striped shirt under his jacket.
Also why do all the human characters in this movie wear jackets
Is it just very cold all the time

 

The guy with the shirt was in the car and Shane was helping him out. And I could see fire from the damage.
