1.) Oh, Raf, you trollin’ the interwebz!
2.) Okay, as long as they continue to address Bulkhead’s recovery, I suppose it’s all right. Better than just *poof* he’s back and ready.
3.) *Arcee wipes dust off, reveals Decepticon logo*
Optimus: ”It is of Decepticon origin.”
    Bumblebee: [IMG]
4.) Ratchet’s probably thinking “And [I[this[/I] is why I don’t leave the base!”
5.) I just can’t get over how gorgeous that fire animation is. :D
6.) :lol  at the exchange between Optimus, Smokescreen and the Autobots.
    7.) Ooh, Elite Guard reference!
8.) Definitely getting the Armada Sideswipe vibe from Smokescreen.
9.) Oh, look’s like Starscream got out of his Apex Armor. I wonder if he can put it on and off at will, rather than being trapped in it.
10.) Hmm... that dramatic push-in on Airachnid in prison, I wonder if they could be reminding us that her potential breakout is inevitable. :v
11.) Poor Bulkhead, he’s feelin’ sadz. :(  I wonder if they’re going to use that as potential character development between the two. Hostility/resentment between each other, as Bulkhead feels replaced.
12.) :lol  at Starscream’s dramatic, pontificating entrance. Typical Starscream.
13.) AWWW YEAAAA! Transportable Apex Armor.
14.) Yes! Yes! Throw Optimus around like a rag-doll! :ev:
15.) Man, ‘dat alternate mode for Smokescreen.
16.) Awww... I really feel bad for Bulkhead. :(  Hiding there in the shadows, feeling depressed, looking like he has a plan for the Apex Armor. I truly hope they use this story point for something cool.

Overall, great episode. Can’t wait for the next one. :D

No, no, don't ask! D: YoungPrime is ambiguously expressing his disappointment with the series/this episode.

I like Smokescreen, it's good to finally have some new blood among the Autobots (even though it's been thirty-six episodes since the last new Autobot!) and the character himself seems okay. He puts me in mind of Cheetor and Hot Rod. The end of the episode with Bulkhead walking away all depressed made me sad though...

I may not agree with your reasons for disliking the show, but I understand. If you don't like it, and its a constant disappointment for you, then don't watch it. It's okay to enjoy different aspects of the franchise.

There have been a few pathos-centric episodes and/or episodes where this was portrayed well, but I agree that the scene of the wounded warrior hobbling (almost shambling) off to the shadows to sulk was... utterly depressing but very well played. Great job Hasbro team.

Overall another great episode. Fav' part still remains the scene with Jack and Smokescreen on the bluff overlooking the freeway helping Smokey decide on his vehicle mode. How fun was that open and frank Constructicon reference? Doubt we'll ever see them (let alone one) on the show, but the reference was still pretty awesome.

I doubt Bulkhead has plans for the Apex Armor. he looked at it and said 'the newbie did good', or something along those lines. It's probably sadness that he got hurt trying to rid them of a relic and Smokescreen brought one back, perfectly fine. That and he's looking at the prize the kid brought back. No hopes up for Bulkhead in the Armor.

    Great Episode!

    - Smokescreen brings some much needed light-heartedness to the show. His origin story is great, his personality is energetic without being annoying, and his use of strategy is a nice throwback to his G1 self.

    - I LOVE his alt-mode. It just SCREAMS Corvette. Reminds me a lot of movie Sideswipe with it's low-to-the-ground look and sexy curves.

    - I really liked the use of the phase-shifter. Even though the way Smokescreen used it made no sense, it was totally convincing.

    - I laughed at Starscream using the internet.

    - The Apex armor looked a little different from last time - it moved more fluidly or something.

    - The animators are really getting their mileage on that shipping yard location.

    - Bulkhead's bitterness really hit home. I think there's going to some tension between him and Smokescreen for a while.

    - Alpha Trion will obviously play a role later in the season.

    - Though I don't particularly like the fact that the relics are driving the plot, I think the writers are making better use of them now. They also answered the question of what happened to the spark extractor.

-The idea of Starscream using the internet both amuses me and scares the hell out of me. It's not like the Decepticons need a reason to crush humans like insects, but if they discover something like Furry porn they'd probably start doing it on general principal. And who would blame them? I'm not even a giant robot and stuff like that makes me want to go into Crush Kill Destroy mode.

-I felt bad for Bulkhead. Poor guy

Why does everybody keep saying Smokescreen is reusing old parts? The door wings are quite a big stretch; look at them sometime, they greatly differ from Bumblebee's. Smokescreen even has his wheels in his wings.

His face looks like a cross between Starscreams' and Optimus' if anything.

But it's a completely new model. They didn't just recycle parts off of all the other TFs. I don't think they even designed him to look that way.

I think thta's just because the faces are literally just blank shapes with lines for mouths. Remove enough detail and everyone looks the same. Also it doesn't help that 70% of the cast has the same basic shape for their face.

*sigh* It's true though. It weirded me out before, but now I kinda get why they've given TFs such human-like faces in the past. Even if noses make no got-damn sense.

It's like they tried to copy Animated's face designs but forgot the whole part about giving them unique face shapes and proportions. There's too many characters with a V shaped face.

My God this show's on a hat trick.

Smokescreen is great, he's pretty much this shows answer to the hot blooded idiot hero trope. He was funny, and it's neat that we get some great name drops from him. Alpha Trion, Construciticons, The Elite Guard...etc)

Poor Bulkhead, I can really feel the pain and paranoia he's going through. The ending is kind of depressing.

Starscream's back. and I mean yeah he loses the Apex Armour but he came for what he wanted. The Red Energon which I'm guessing is based on speed based on a later episode.

I'm glad Smokescreen's here to stay and Nolan North rocks the role. I think after Ratchet and Arcee....actually I don't know if i were to rank the bots who I like most. We need more Smokescreen to see if he'll be the best.

Great episode. :lol  at Starscream laughing at the kitty.
