A truly epic version of the Beast Wars theme music with an orchestra and choir:

What other epic versions of TF music can you guys share here? I love this kind of stuff!

 

Honestly while most of the US series themes outside of BW aren't what I'd call really "epic" a good portion of the Japanese series had some pretty amazing themes. And one thing I admire is there were full song versions and not just the ones that aired on the show. And they frequently also rotated themes either from the openings or the closings. Pretty common for a lot of franchises over there including various animes and tokusatsus

 

Any specific suggestions? I'd be interested to listen! Especially if they're anywhere near as epic as the beast wars cover I posted!!!

 

While I can’t think anything as orchestrative as that Beast Wars cover, off the top of my head, here are three I enjoy.

Nobody has talked about the Armada PS2 game's stellar soundtrack in here yet and I must rectify this.

 

These may not be covers, but they're certainly epic, if you ask me. So much so that they don't even need "epic versions."

I absolutely love where you guys have taken this thread!!! And as long as we are talking epic music which was epic to begin with, the music in the Fall of Cybertron game was absolutely amazing!!! By a guy named Troels Folmann.

 

That Fall of Cybertron 'Till all are One song from the game soundtrack and the Cities in Dust song from the game trailer are both pretty epic, but to me nothing can top that epic opening song from Fall of Cybertron:

 

YES!!! This blew me away when playing the game. Especially with Peter Cullen’s narration over it! It’s by a guy named Troels Folmann. I wish that Kingdom on Netflix had this kind of soundtrack, or something more akin to the orchestra cover of Beast Wars I posted in this thread by Michael Hovsepian. I REALLY feel like the music in the Netflix shows was lacking in a big way, and not because of the composer. It was just so under stated.

 

So much awesome in this thread! Especially the first post! I'm not sure this would have fit into Kingdom, but I do agree the Netflix shows were lacking in the music department. The voice acting was even worse.

 

Finally a blessed soul has posted this unreleased track from WFC's OST.

 

This was one of my favorite parts of the game, but I haven't played in forever. Was this music actually in the game? Or was it never used?

 

It was in the final game. I think it played on three different occasions: at the end of chapter 2, when facing the first miniboss in chapter 6 and at the start of chapter 9.

 

This One makes me think of Kingdom
