Liokaiser is listed in the current Entertainment Earth catalog:
    Platinum_Liokaiser_Catalog.jpg
For some inexplicable reason, he's not listed at the website but apparently he can be ordered vio the phone.

According to Jim Sorensen over at The Allspark:

When you could get them for $115 shipped (less if you didn't want packaging) on eBay, two weeks ago, I'm not sure why you'd wait to order from EE...

I honestly feel bad for EE. They got this for an exclusive for their store, and have been beaten to the punch from overseas sellers.

Yup yup so sad for EE, the set will most likely get discounted by them in 2 years time, unless they're smart and put it on sale during BF and throughout the rest of the Xmas Holiday...

They did it to themselves. The original reveal from Hasbro listed it at $109.99. That was sufficient for me to be patient and wait for it to come out.

Then the early reports started rolling in that EE would be charging anywhere from $120 to $130 for it. And around the same time eBay sellers started marking theirs down to $110-115.

Combine that with the disaster that was Groove's rollout here in the US, and I don't blame collectors for grabbing them from reliable eBayers for less while they were available rather than trust EE didn't botch the rollout either by jacking up the price or running out before most people even realized they were available.

Personally? I'm saving up for TFC's Poseidon. That $15-20 I saved by importing Liokaiser from Taiwan is going right into that fund.

And maybe next time Hasbro won't go the exclusive route. Or maybe the seller won't put a Toys R Us markup on it just because they can.

Yeah that is sad. That said I'd rather wait and see what Takara does first.

They might use the Nosecone tooling again and a more proper Leozack.

That is the thread for the Singapore release. So talking about a release in another region there is off-topic, and more generally, does not help us with news reporting. A new thread is, in my mind, the correct approach in this case.

Well, at that price my Ebay'd Liokaiser wasn't a particularly poor decision.

I'm waiting to see if TT does anything crazy and makes their own version...but wouldn't they have teased it by now if that was the case?

$115 shipped isn't bad since CW giftsets are around $100 each.

Nah, look how long it took them to do UW Megatronia after Victorion was released...

Considering we've had three EX teams that were just repaints or new heads....I'm guessing they're biding time while they figure out the dual torso.

Bigger mystery isn't if their Liokaiser will have Jarguar adn Leozack...but what they'll end up doing with the Dezarus mold instead.

Anyone bet HTS'll end up with it eventually?

But seriously. Why on earth would you charge $15 extra and make it harder to get than EBay?

That is a good question, and you'd think for a major exclusive like this, they'd have it on the front page.
