So far: Autobots 15 Optimus Bumblebee Irohide Ratchet Sideswipe The Twins x2 Nascars x3 Ferrari Silverbolt Einstein Fire Truck Wheelie Decepticons: 8 Megatron Starscream Soundwave Shockwave Superfund Armored Truck Chevrolet Suburban x2 Dodge Charger SRT-8 That makes 23 Robots and if I included the fuel truck rumoured it would make it 24 robots. We have not heard anymore robots or machines so far. You think this is enough robots for the movie?
I'm hoping that there will be more Decepticons, even if that means an army of generic looking clones. Actually, the Charger picture was proven to be photoshopped, so for all we know atm, there isn't one in the movie. Also, personally, I wouldn't count Wheelie as an Autobot just yet. He could easily be pressured into joining the Decepticons again.
I want more robots than that for TF3. ROTF had around 40 I believe... I'd like to see that number again. Go all out for the final film.
I'd say there's enough Autobots. The Decepticons on the other hand need a few more, but I suppose there will probably be plenty of drones/clones.
Well, I dont know of any good movie with 23 actors in it together. So having ~23 tf characters + human actors is already too many for a cohesive story IMO..
Nope. Not enough bad guys. Unless they let the big four get a MEGATON of kills and cause disaster movie levels of destruction, I won't be satisified with that few bad guys.
They should have a maximum of only seven robots on either side. And not more than three principal human characters.
Yes, it's what many have been asking for, less robots. It's a two hour long movie, a cast of 23-24 is enough. The first movie didn't have very many robots, and it was a lot better than ROTF and allowed for each character to do something.
Maybe a couple more D-Cons, but not as many Transformers as ROTF had, because the more there are, the less screentime each will get.
Honestly, I do too. New characters are expected in sequels or continuing franchises, but, IMO, it's always better to keep it limited to one or two new additions - that way the returning characters don't fade into the background and are still front and center, and you can spotlight the new characters like they deserve.
I would have to say the same for being a few more Decepticons. But for Autobtos, as long as one of them is called Wheeljack I'm set for life, if not bring more Autobots until one is called Wheeljack.
