    Hi folks

I picked up some extra Energon Sharkticons from some cool sellers in the Junkion Exchange. He was in my opinion of the best molds from that line. Cool alt mode and well articulated bot mode. The bad part was that he didn't come with any Energon chips or weapons.

Now the question is which weapons, chips, or minicons would make Energon Sharkticon look more fearsome? Pics would be greatly appreciated! :)

Oh yeah, spear. Spear fishing w/ a shark = quality. You could try modifying a spear into a trident too. That would be bad ass.

I'm thinking a big floppy fish which he beats his enemies with. The Unholy Mackarel of Destruction.

I gave him the purple spear and energon chip from OTFCC '04. The color matches him perfectly!

If you take E-Insecticon's energon drill weapon, you can attach it the underside of the very front of Sharkticon's nose in vehicle mode to make an even nastier looking shark.

Holy crap. I've actually got a spear and a trident that would be in scale with him and I've never thought to let him hold either one. The awesomeness simply oozes off this idea.

I like taking Divebombs energon boomerang, breaking it up and putting each on his arm pieces. Looks cool, IMHO.

Sharkticon is probably my favorite mold to come out of the Energon line and a piece that's prominently displayed in my collection. As far as weapons for him, I've tried the following:

    Botcon Exclusive Purple Energon Spear

Not bad, but I have two problems with this: First, the purple is too rich and bright for Sharkticon's colour scheme, so I don't care for the colour match. Secondly, the underside of Sharkticon's gauntlets bump into the long thin part of the spear, preventing him from holding the handle straight in his hand.

    Double-Bladed Battle Staff

A massive weapon I originally started using with larger Energon figures (using Skyblast's spear), but the purple Botcon spear helps it work better with Sharkticon's colour scheme. Sharkticon's arm articulation allows him to hold the staff with one hand on the peg on the end and the other on the small peg on the center of the staff. It's a bit of an awkward weapon, but menacing for a Deluxe.

    Twin Plasma Pistols

Sometimes, simplicity is best and my favorite weapons for Sharkticon are nothing more than a pair of Doom-Lock pistols. The orange of the pistols and the spark crystal fits very nicely with Sharkticon's colour scheme and the figure looks neat as a gunslinger. In addition, the pistols can be used in the vehicle mode (as jet thrusters), which can't be done with the larger, more awkward weapons above.

Mine currently has the Doomlock sword and Armada Darksaber. Two sword poses look quite badass with him.

You can always stick him on Towline on Cliffjumper lol

Or make him backwards into 'armor mode'

    I like that Trident idea

They're a little pricey. I got my set (Purple and Blue Energon Spear two-pack) from BBTS when they were on sale for ~$27, but the regular price was over $30. Cost is probably going to depend on where you can find a set. I think they're worth a purchase, but then Energon weapons are my favorite of the recent gimmicks.

Great ideas scantron. Try a couple of the sea team members on the pegs on his tailfins. As for the holes on the top of the tail, stick divebombs energon blades there.
Thats how mine is set up now.

Whenever I have Sharkticon displayed, I go with a very simple Energon spear-to-trident "mod". All I do is separate the two pieces that make up the spearhead and stick them back on so that they are not attached to each other. Presto change-o, a two-pronged all purple weapon.

Arming Sharkticon with Doom-Lock pistols, though, is an awesome idea. And for all my attempts to make the Energon Spear attach in vehicle mode, it's nice to see a choice of weapon that works either way. Plus, an excuse for multiple E-dinos is a bonus. :)

Does the Command/Battle Ravage weapon(s) look good. I forgot what it looks like but I vaguely remember him having a gun or something.
