out of all the different versions, which do you prefer the most?

i'm mostly thinking of strongarm, skyblast and signal flare, as i have the originals, but keep looking at the movie scout repaints....

so, whats your opinion? i really want to just have one of each mold, with the possible exception of strongarm, as the green movie version could be classics brawn, and the botcon 05 version is outback....

ps. i dont have any pictures of the new scout versions....

They are all good. (Strongarm, Skyblast,SignalFlare) I really like the energon weapons that Skyblast and Strongarm come with, and I have bought doubles, just to have more of the weapons.

Some of the movie repainted scouts are a little dull, like the first Arcee and Skyblast. Air Raid on the other hand is awesome, I love the pixelated camo job they gave him, like he's hiding in the jungles of an old 8-bit Nintendo game. For Arcee and Strongarm I prefer their originals, though Elita-One is quite nice as well. Honestly you could have a field day with Arcee repaints and remolds, the color was different on the Superlink version, Ariel, the Paradron Medic repaint in Japan, there's Botcon Chromia, Flamewar, and Flare Up, now movie Arcee and Elita-One.

Signal Flare upsets me... three paint jobs and really, I don't quite like any of them... for preference it's the first one but light blue on a military device never set well with me, and they had some odd ideas for the repaints of the figure.

i too really like the pixelated camo scheme, and the dark grey on the other one looks sweet too....and i love the energon weapons he comes with...though i give them to signal flare....and the arcee recolors ive passed on al of them...the mold is cool, but i dont want to try to cram all those different versions in with classics....though i may just put arcee there until a better one comes out....

and signal flare, the blue really doesnt work, but i dig the green...and i dont really wanna get the target exclusive, the gray weapons just look bland to me....

and i really wanna customize my energon sky blast into pre beast terrorsaur....but i just havent yet...

I'm pretty fond of the Skyblast mold. I'd like to get ahold of the two Target recolors, but the lack of Targets within close distance won't make that possible. I like the Arcee and Strongarm molds, too, but I don't think I need multiples of them.

That pixellated camo is made of win. If I buy a Target scout, it's him.

The Armorhide is awesome, the Strongarm is a very good substitute for Brawn in Classics. Sure he's not a 4 X 4 but the general "persona" is there.

I would buy Skyblast in just about any colors they choose to throw on him.

i was talking to FREEFALL and he was thinking a cybertron overhaul with a new head and new arms would be a great brawn, and i totally would love that, but dont see it happening...i really wish we knew what classics were coming this year...

I really like the first repaint of Energon Strongarm the best, I also own this version of him.

BTW, while we are talking about Energon Scouts, which ones had the "Auto-morph" feature, and where did it take place on them? I know when you turn Energon Skyblast's chest piece, his head rotates into position. And when you push Energon Cruellock's lower half up into his torso, his beast-mode head flips down back behind his body.

No wait! I remember Insecticon having a similar auto-morph to Skyblast. I think?

Battle Ravage - when you move his body into robot mode position, his head folds out.

Insecticon, Divebomb, Arcee and Strongarm had no automorphs. Singal Flare didn't either, but his cannon arm rotated a little when you moved it, making the dish spin when you had it attached.

They need to make a re-paint of Divebomb, and some scrapmetals for the Movie basic line, I need more for my Terrorcon Army.
