After seeing (and loving) Godzilla a couple times and being stumped on a custom I've been working on for a while, I realized that I had two Doom-Locks lying around. I didn't want him to be black like most Godzilla toys, because he's more of a deep blue. I really wanted him to look grimy and disgusting, like a big lizard that just crawled out of the bottom of the ocean should be. I did a couple base coats of deep navy blue, then sprayed on a little bit of green on him to make him look like he's covered in algae and sea goop. Finally, I took some of the paint off of the very tips of his spikes and replaced the Decepticon spark crystal thingy with an Autobot one because it seemed more fitting. My girlfriend helped me decide between God-Lock and Doomzilla, the latter of which was the winner. I'd appreciate some feedback, but please keep in mind that this is only my third custom (and only my second successful one, at that).

    TL;DR - Meet the grimy, mucky-looking Doomzilla!

At some point, I'd like to change his sword from orange to light blue, but that'll probably never happen. If you've seen the movie, you'll know why I want to make that change :)

it is most likely, the look is matching the baby zillas from the 98 movie

They actually did- he is indeed based of the 1998 American Godzilla (Or Zilla now I suppose). Doom/Cruellock was just designed to have a more upright stature than the American Godzilla had.

And on the 90's Godzilla discussion - I knew from the wiki that Doom/Cruellock were based on the 90's Godzilla, and I was inspired (for lack of a better word) to throw a new spin on him. I'm pretty happy with how he turned out, and it's pretty cool that you guys think so too! :)

I guess my next custom is going to be Paddles the Dinobot. My girlfriend really wants me to make her one
