Prime Arcee is said to be a good version of the character so far but Energon and Animated Arcee are also considered to be good characters in their own right too. So which versions do you like best?

 

Who exactly said Energon Arcee was a "good character"? Seriously, I want to know, because they obviously haven't seen Aniamted.

He's doing this probably because in that "Prime in 30 years" thread I don't think he realized Energon Arcee even existed until I said as such:

He also says he's never seen Energon, which explains why Energon Arcee is even on this list. Anybody who can sit through Energon long enough to get a grasp of E. Arcee's character would know she's not that great a character.

 

Animated Arcee. No contest on my end!

 

I like TFA Arcee the most. She had a great story arc, an awesome design, and a kickass and rare toy.

TFP is probably second, and I haven't watched much of Energon.

 

Well, G1 Arcee was just the pink girl (or psychopathic transgender in IDW0), Energon Arcee had as much depth as any other Energon character (READ: none whatsoever), Animated Arcee was a glorified MacGuffin, and Prime Arcee's actually got a backstory, motivation, and characterization beyond being "GURL".

I think Bluecee wins by default.

 

From those three - still Animated one is the best. For me.

Nonetheless the character herself was spunky and tough as nails. One of the better characters to come out of that trainwreck.

I voted Animated BTW. She was nice and was part of the main story. Tragic, but she got a happy ending.

its possible he's insecure, cause sometimes he have told me that due to the hate both arcee and the show have been getting in this site, he's starting to feel unsure if he should like the show and character cause of the hate.

(but i always tell him that he should not let the negative opinions of the other users affect what he likes. if he likes it, he likes it, the negative opinions on both the show and character should not affect what he likes)

 

Animated Arcee was a prop, not a character. She has no story, she's a prop in Ratchet's story. It's a GOOD STORY, but it's not her's. There's nothing to her. She's a motivating factor. A mannequin.

 

And yet her brief moments of conciousness in Thrill of the Hunt are more compelling to me than all of prime Arcee's generic MY PARTNERS ARE DEEEAD combine.

Plus her toy was awesome.

 

I didn't get why people like TFA Arcee? (judging form the poll), she was hardly in the show and was nothing but the victim.

 

I have to be honest, I almost didn't recognize you, eagc7, your typing has admittedly gotten a LOT better and it's not making my spell check want to strangle you anymore. All you need is to capitalize the self-referential single "I" uses and you're pretty much good to go.

And yeah, there's nothing WRONG with liking Prime, the issue is that he tries to defend the show as its white knight from any criticism or hate at all that try to point out the flaws.

Well, that, and the fact he posted that REALLY creepy "what transformer would you date?" thread a long time back along with claiming to swear off transformers forever PROBABLY wasn't for the best in terms of his reputation.

 

Because she wasn't annoying.

Nobody's trying to say she's more developed than Prime Arcee. Prime Arcee is just fucking grating and TFA Arcee is not. TFA Arcee was a calm, kind teacher. In a world bloated with screaming gut-toting action heroes and heroines, it's a refreshing change of pace.

 

You forgot chin stroking.

Can't be Animated unless chins are involved.
