Nice they're doing different set of figures for those who bought the first set. On the other hand it sucks for those who weren't able to get the first set.

 

ah damn, not good for thsoe who missed the first lot, i prefer the first lot, more variety and a bit dull in comparison to the first set (i liked the red tank/plane, green spaceship!), im hopeful that they will 'encorise' the original set again!

 

I hoped they would be the same as TFC but different packeging. Oh well Ill still pick this up and I still wont pay secondary for the TFC, so I guess nothing has changed.

I just realized I've spent years confusing Swerve and Tailgate's molds. Huh.

Oh, and 3000 yen / $30 USD isn't bad for these guys.

 

This is awesome for me, as I prefer the 1986 guys and I already have the other set. Perhaps they'll do an e-Hobby release with recolors of all of them but Bumblebee and give us Hubcap that way.

Well.... that's a bit of a bait-and-switch for those who already pre-ordered them. Like me.   Oh well, no biggie.... really I just wanted them for the cartoon-head Bumblebee, since I missed out on the first Minibot set. I was planning on selling off the other figures anyway. Now I guess I'll just be selling off a DIFFERENT set of figures.

 

Oh wow! I have the original TFC, so now I'll pick this set up.

 

That is sweet beyond belief!! I have ZERO 1986 Minibots and have been eyeballing these guys for quite awhile. This is pure win in my book.

I just noticed that this Bumblebee comes from the keychain molded one based on the hole on his left shoulder. I wonder if he'll come with the keychain part. I just finished my set of original minibots by obtaining Beachcomber but I'm not a huge fan of these recolored/remolded versions so I'll pass

 

QFT. I was gonna pass because I already have the TFC set. Now this is a must buy as it will pretty much finish the minibots. All we need is Beachcomber and Seaspray.

 

Hell yes.

On a week where we've ssen a certain Botcon set and some appaling Universe figures (not Prowl and Sunstreaker, but all the others) it's nice to see that even if FP and Hasbro aren't fussed about taking my cash, Takara Tomy are happy to do so.

Hmmm... thats pretty cool. I'm glad they didn't switch out the Bumblebee... thats the whole reason I'm buying the set. Will maybe part the rest of it out...

 

I am kinda bummed that there is not Warpath, Powerglide or Cosmos, I was looking foward to those and have never liked the Brawn mold. Oh well. I still got em.

 

I'd like to see E-Hobby repaints of Swerve, Tailgate, Pipes and Outback. Preferably as Gobots again.

 

Same. I never got the TFC set b/c I have all the '84-85 minibots and wasn't going to pay $50 for an anime BB head. I think I do actually have Tailgate somewhere but his chrome is all bleh. At any rate, all the (good) '86 minibots plus anime BB = win.

And bring on the E-hobby repaints again.

 

Just need Hubcap.

 

Well this sucks. I'm one of those that missed out on the TFC set. I don't care for any of the 1986 minibots. And $30+ for a remolded face Bumblebee isn't enough for me to bite. I guess I'll pass on this and stick with my keychain reissue Bumblebee.
