Generations Metroplex may be taller, but it is also scrawnier. A tall beanpole of a bot next to a slightly shorter heavier set bot.. Generations Metroplex almost looks anorexic...

Since HLJ doesn't have Fort Max in stock yet, I can't really be sure of the shipping, but it seems like FedEx is currently the cheapest alternative.

Had to believe this guy is less than two weeks away from being released. Thank goodness I took the slower option at BBTS to buy me some extra time. But if he got delayed again, it wouldnt really hurt my feelings, but I know that would suck for those who have been waiting for this guy.

Cant wait to see some MISB pics.

OK so I finally pressed the pay button and Fort Max is officially bought.

I didn't think it would be that hard spending $400 plus on a TF all in one shot but it was. TFSource had the best shippign rate for Canada ($58) but damn why did they have to have the highest price of all the internet for this guy. ($350)

Oh well, it's done. The grail will soon be mine and hey, we all know once this sells out it will sky rocket in price anyway :D  :D  :D

^Huh, the free shipping on orders $150+ is only a domestic thing?

TFSource provides free shipping over $150, but they jack up the price of the product itself. Most of the time, it ends up being the same price as BBTS after everything is said and done.

For example, Fort Max is $350 at TFSource. BBTS has it for $330 + ~ $20 shipping = $350

    Really just a marketing ploy.

I'm at that point where I'm about o click the pay button. I just started collecting this year and never spent over $120 for a tf toy. I told myself I would limit my budget this year to $500 and can't really spend more than that anyways. If i make the drop now, that will end my purchases this year. But it would mean missing out on metroplex and mp sw. Im sooooooooo conflicted right now its like choosing with one of my kids to save :(  What do you guys think? Pleas help veteran collectors, what would you do if you were me? $500 is a strict limit, Thx in advance.

    Argh.

Amazon Japan has this listed at just 19,684 yen and free shipping!!

I told myself I wasn't gonna buy it cause it's so expensive and BIG but...man....it's a BRAND new factory fresh Fortress Maximus for less than $200......I'm so conflicted!!

    Dude, DO IT!

I'm going to be paying nearly twice that to get mine (an additional $130-150ish for the BBTS price plus what it adds in shipping to an existing PoL). I'd shit bricks if I could get Encore Fort Max for just under $200 shipped.

So yeah, what the hell are you waiting for?

Fuck man, for 200 each I could have bought two for what I'm paying...FUCK.

I think I'd go for this. Though, I would have to say that you should break your limit for this year and get MP Soundwave as well. Don't worry about Metroplex he wont even see a release till August this year so it's likely you'll be able to find him next year, hopefully he's a wide mass release.

But, does it ship to your address?

EDIT: Okay, you live in Japan so the answer is obviously "yes".

The rest of us are screwed on this deal, tho.

I'm conflicted because it's just SO big and I have a pretty small place. And yeah, $200 is still a lot of money and I wasn't really planning on spending it. I thought I was content to just pass on Fort Max and live vicariously through others.

But this is a hell of a deal!! I mean...if I pass on this deal, I'll probably regret it when he's all sold out and I'll be like "Man I could have had it!"

I mean...it's Fortress Maximus...he's cool. But at the same time, he's just gonna stand in a corner.

I don't know what to do!!
