Yeah, really happy to see tampos on these. I'd love to see more sets, and a reissue Blaster too.

Now you too can re-enact scenes from Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" with metal condors!

And don't forget the all robo-jaguar version of "Strays"!

LOVE the fact the tape details are painted on this time, but I just hope the paint details don't run onto the screws like they did on Ratbat. Tightening things up with a screwdriver ended up messing up the details because of that.

They DID make it anime accurate. In the Japanese cartoon, the blue one WAS Frenzy. It's the US cartoon that's messed up.

    Rumble and Frenzy at last!

Missing from a lot of G1 collections, I think. And they were pretty much featured in every G1 episode from the first two seasons.

    Can't wait to get these.

Amazing how Encore alone has released all the 1984 Decepticons.

Official release date is 13 or 14 of December :)  (amazon jp will start shipping on the 13th, and they often ship a day before the street date.)

Frenzy and ramble for me at last, too!

Isn't the US cartoon the same one the Japanese got? Even if the re-edited it, it was still the blue robot with pile drivers. Or did they just switch the names so Frenzy made earthquakes & Rumble hardly showed up?

The blue one was named Frenzy in the Japanese script to match the name on the toy packaging. They fucked up in MTMTE and just kept the names backwards for show continuity.

But the nice part about these is that since the names are in Japanese on the front of the box, the FIRRIB people can still live in denial.

And they can just pretend the Internet doesn't have a wealth of online translators?
