That washer looked pretty good, probably because of all that metal!
Is it an official reissue or a vintage?
Yeah, that's pretty much what I've been thinking. I'd like to see more evidence before i get too excited.
*laughs* Well, I'll be damned! I wish I could claim credit for this, but, honestly, it's just a weird but amusing coincidence. The laundry machine only got picked because the basement light provided optimal conditions for capturing fine details.
I was hoping this set would be nice (and with the diecast chests), as I really wanted one.
What a shame.
Maybe I'll pick it up when the price drops down to $20.
i really dont see anything except on onslaught but honeslty who carees as long they trasnform, & combine thats all that matters to me but i have the rid version.
if i get this version ill be surprised
I suppose for those of us who really want the die cast could try to pick up some old junker Combaticons and salvage the die cast parts for the Encore. But that doesn't really make up for the worn out molds.
Maybe salvage the newer joints and swap them over to the originals would be a better idea.
As for me, I'm going to use the Anime conversion stickers from Reprolabels on the Encore set. Since the stickers cover alot of area, it can hide alot of the faded details from the worn molds. I never could bring myself to use them on my vintage set so this is the perfect solution

It appears to be more that just an isolated incident, so far.
i suppose the general thing with reissues is that some of them actually compete well with vintage items, consider god ginrai or collection prowl, there is little to differentiate them from vintage toys (ignoring the collection boxes of course) but something like encore bruticus is significantly weaker than vintage and it suddenly seems less of a bargain at $85 as you are in actuality getting something far different from an expensive vintage piece on the secondary market.
ok, im not quite sure of my point but there you go!
Somebody should ban that guy from the internet! LOL That is the most annoying review I have ever seen. Wash his mouth out with soap. I have a potty mouth at times but if I was gonna do a video, I wouldn't act like that!
Srsly. I hate that guy's review and agree that he should be banned from the internet.
I enjoy them. I don't see them as reviews as much....he's just funny to listen to.
For good reviews..go see this guy.
http://www.youtube.com/user/peaugh?view=videos I have used them to transforms my bots when the directions were of no help to me!
I love this guys reviews lol

And I prefer Silverbolt, runescape, or stopmotionjr, but thanks.
Yup, I don't take it as a serious review. He's drunk in most of his videos. Think of it as a youtube version of drunk dialing. It's funny to listen in to.
No die-cast + sloppy molding = you just lost a sale TakTom.
You'd think with a set like this that's much knocked-off and already widely available, they'd realise the need to deliver a quality product. A pity, I was looking forward to it.
Robotadventures is a foul-mouthed, beer-swilling TF fan.....and I think he is hilarious. He is one of only four reviewers I watch regularly (Rimfyre, Dyansis/ Silverbolt, and Peaugh being the others).
Back on topic, too bad to hear about the poor quality of this set. I own an orignal G1 Bruticus, but was considering picking this set up......big pass for me now.
