I got my e-mail from BBTS that said mine had arrived and was paid for. :)

Finally, after 21+ years, I will have my own Omega Supreme. :D

Awesome pictures! I may have to watch "The Key to Vector Sigma" tonight so I can hear Omega's line...

    "Repairs complete. Omega Supreme!"

I hate to bash G1, but very meh for me. I had so much trouble putting the legs together that I got tired with him and put him back in the box. I don't miss partsformers and he's the shining example of why.

The lining up of the outer leg guards to the torso takes a little practice, I'll give you that. For those who don't have Omega, it's because of the motorized walking that the legs have the outer and inner parts. I think Trypticon and Sky Lynx do it better with the simpler transform steps around their feet.

Mine came yesterday. and after using him and Sky Lynx to chase my cats, I messed around with him some. He's pretty cool, I love big transformers and he looks great on display. Aside of that, most "play" is gonna happen in alt mode, as there's really no transformation play to speak of (I already knew this though, it's not a complaint) but it's really fun, and looks great next to Fort Max and Scorponok in city mode. (can't wait to get encore Metroplex, here's hoping for Trypticon)

All in all, I'm happy, but I think the price is a bit high for this guy. The box itself makes a nice display piece too, really nice. I can't decide wether to apply the stickers or not, as they are all tiny, "floating" stickers (No real outline of where to put them, just find the general area, eyeball it, and hope for the best) and have more of a generic or G2 style to them than most G1 decals. They just don't really seem like they would add anything to the figure.

BUYER BEWARE: If you don't do your research, you WILL be dissapointed, there are a whole 4 small transformation steps, and that is all. He is a partsformer in every sense of the word, so know what you're getting into.

Great pics Foster and sooo tempting. But I don't have the funds this year. And I have NO idea where I would put that big-ass toy.

Got mine in yesterday. Very nice figure. Wasnt too thrilled with all the pics of the face online, but once I saw it in person, I liked it better. I dont have a vintage one, but I used to, and IIRC, the only major difference is that the plastic is a bit more grey than on the original one, which was more brown. And yes, he is a major partsformer, in other words, you turn the tank into what looks like a tank with a head and arms, and you piece together the legs and arms, but thats one of the things I like about him.

Mine came on Thursday from BBTS. Brought back a lot of very good memories from when I got my original Omega Supreme for my Birthday back in 1985. I got a LOT of Transformers for my birthday that year.

I love the new face. Excellent addition to this reissue.

I just got Omega and I love him. I wanted him for over a decade and a half, and now I got him!

For those of you who hate the face: it's easy to take off! All you need is a pair of tweezers and a philips head screwdriver - no kitbashing skill required!

    1) Wedge your tweezer in the top of Omega's head where his faceplate meets his helmet. Gently use it as a lever and remove the faceplate.
    2) His face pops out easy - it isn't glued in or anything! It's like they purposely made it easy to take out.
    3) This will do for most - but a little blue piece that would normally hold the new face in remains. For those of you who want to take this out, take a philips head screwdriver and unscrew the screw where his face would be.
    4) Now wedge your tweezers in the very front of his head where the tubes meet each other, and lift the top of his head back and off. Be careful not to break the tab in the back of his head or his cannon.
    4) You can easily slide the little blue piece out now. Be careful with the little tabs that hold it in.
    5) Presto! Now Omega can defend the Autobots in all his G1 glory!

    Beer not included.

Man, I can't wait for mine to get here. Does anyone have any idea when A3U might be shipping theirs? Their site does say anything and I haven't got any emails or anything...
