Hi, I'm new, sort of. I actually used to post on the boards until about a year ago under a different name, but had to stop while my entire life got destroyed and rebuilt. Since I'm starting everything else over from scratch, I wanted to start from scracth here too. To celebrate my new arrival/return, I'd like to present my first TransFormers fan art!

It's always made me sad how most designs cover up the crown/crest on G1 Megatron's head, so I decided to do the opposite and make the inner layer of the helmet more obvious. I like to think that part of the toy helped get him the title "Emperor of Destruction", and now it gives him a stronger visual connection to G1 Galvatron, BW Megatwon, etc. I know it's not perfect, but the pencil was done on a wrinkled sheet of graph paper :lol

Thanks! I probably won't have any more TF art to post soon, but when I do I'm thinking of maybe giving BW Megatron a similar toy-accurate treatment... aside from maybe the colors and his left arm. That guy was in bad need of more paint.

    Thanks all!
Next time, I think I'll avoid graph paper alltogether. It's not as easy to filter out the blue lines at I thought it would be. :banghead:

I don't normally comment on art, or even come into this forum but "Emperor of Destruction" drew me in. A very distinctive style. I agree, the sword is very cool.
    Do more please. :D

Maybe in the next week or two if I feel motivated :)  It'll probably be Beast Wars Megatron or Optimal Optimus, since I've got ideas for interesting ways to portray them.
