    My guess is Guinevere, Arthur's wife. That's more reasonable than a strange mystical woman lying in a pond distributing swords.

    My first thought was Guinevere, too, but the Lady of the Lake is most definitely out of this world. In current fiction we had the appearance of a pretender and headmasters. Perhaps this is the direction this Arthurian plot is going?
