I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet? But there are 2 versions of Netflix Elita-1 with the small pin head in front (correct) and the larger pin head in front (backwards) I think the larger pins look better but the detailing on the shoulders are backwards compared to the show. Maybe no one cares but it's bothering me as I'm unsure which version is best.

Edit: Perhaps I should have said 2 different assembly variations of the shoulders instead of saying 2 versions which would imply different parts. Same parts, but some assembled backwards

Because of the design and range of the shoulder joints on the Arcee mold, you can flip them around completely and they're still fully functional. There's aren't two versions, it's actually just the same piece backwards.

I haven't opened mine yet, was not aware they could be flipped. Thanks!

That doesn't work for Elita-1. She has different shoulders.

There's just 1 version. Flathead end (larger) is in front. It's possible, though, if someone in the factory flipped it by mistake.

For Elita-1, if you really want to reverse it, 1) you'd have to unpin the backpack, 2) unscrew the torso halves, 3) swap the shoulders, and finally 4) swap the arms at the bicep swivels.

    Thanks for clarification here!

Actually the larger Flathead end is the incorrect assembly when you compare her shoulders to the Netflix show and the promo images and images on the box. There is different detailing on the shoulders. I thought perhaps mine was a one off but browsing the forums I see an equal mix of large pins and small pins facing front.

    Yep my one’s misassembled

and since she’s got the shoulder spikes I can’t flip them around without disassembly

Still transforms okay and doesn't bug me to much.

Might switch it around down the road.

Looking at these, I realized my Arcee is backwards, she has the large pins in front, oh well the inconsistency is consistent, I guess.

Just spin her shoulders around you can do it with Arcee but Elita has spikes that make it impossible without taking it apart.

My Arcee and Elita-1 have the large pinhead in front, both of my Lifelines have the small pinhead in front.

Hmm, after thinking about this more and doing some research, you are correct, and maybe I should word things a little different. Vast majority I've seen in store and in pictures here for all Arcee mold bots, including Elita-1, is flathead side in front.

However, yes, this could be yet another Hastak manufacturing goof.

There's also the weird Walmart early pics that show Elita-1 with RED Arcee spike-less shoulders.

I can post a reversing picture tutorial later.

I guess as long as my copy of Elita-1 has both pins facing the same way, I don't care (arrives tomorrow).

It would only bug me they weren't symmetrical, lol. :p

Holy crap, the backpack pin is on so tight. Arcee was relatively straightforward to unpin. I had to make a custom jig to get Elita's pin out (ok, it was a wooden chopstick with a hole drilled into it) to act as (counter) support while I used a hammer and bit on the other side.

    It's done.

My Elita has the pins facing the back of her shoulders, while Arcee originally had it the other way around (simply turned them around here).

Semi-related, compared to Arcee w/ pin facing back Elita's arms sit ever so slightly away when pushed as far down towards the body. Not nearly as drastic as with Arcee w/ pin facing forward. D264D822-A937-4E23-86C1-EBA096E08619.jpeg
