The theory I've seen put forth is that the original source of this link was using the original computer files that the layouts were done on, but the next computer down the line didn't have the original fonts, so that computer made substitutions (anyone who's worked with Word documents that were created using unusual fonts on another computer has seen this kind of thing happen).

I don't know if that's what happened, but honestly, I'd expect a Photoshopped image to have fewer such textual oddities.

 

Yeah, of course the head is remolded to be more Inferno than Hot Spot. I usually ignore that when I'm talking about repaint/remolds as that's one of the more unique parts of Transformers to set them apart. I'm sure the combiner mode head in the bucket is different as well. Rather curious who he'll become. Defensor 2.0? I wonder if a new Grapple will also come from this mold.

 

Honestly, I would just want Strafe and Nosecone. Maybe toss in the guns from the other 3 to sweeten the deal

 

I think the leaked artwork showed the same combined mode head, but as is evident that artwork isn’t 100% accurate

 

I mean, the one thing this *does* have going for it is it includes pictures of the finished toys we *haven't* seen before. Especially the Voyagers...

So if it is Photoshopped, the skill to do something like that would likely have translated to the text as well.

The leaked torso mode head art looked a lot like the art for Inferno's new head. He, Elita, and Starscream almost seem like the combined mode head is just a bigger/fancier version of the standard bot.

 

one of the good things about this line is that they're making an Elita-One toy, another is the fact that the Optimus of the toyline is a combination of an Orion Pax and an Optimus Prime toy

IIRC the arms need to be swapped but I'm also remembering something about the arms working better in shuttle mode that way up....

I thought this with the Brawl art but my God, it's like the artist only read super deformed manga growing up. Does proportion mean nothing?

 

Inferno may be a Hot Spot redeco, but at least there is a basis for a Fire Convoy custom now.  

 

whoaa!! Blast off?? that's a nice surprise  wonder who else is included in the future waves.

I was hoping we'd get transparent Prime Masters.

Mixed feelings about Blastoff.

The original had a fantastic paintwork, but was not a shuttle and had no facemask.

I picked up Takara Baldigus, Mover was underwhelming to me, mostly it was the loose neck that bothered me.

 

Paintwork on the Enigmas looks cool

 

Blast off is a mass retail release? Not exclusive? Wow. Good, it will be easy to get.

 

I don't believe we know one way or the other but good money says exclusive.
