I just received my Million Publishing exclusive Mirage that I purchased from BBTS. This would be my first Henkei and pictures I have found online don't really help so, this question is for any owners out there with this figure. The front of the card has tape across the front. From what I've read before, Henkei packaging had just two pieces on the back of the card (on the bubble) making returning the figure to the box without damage to the card. I bought it new (no sub standard) from BBTS but, I can't help but feel it was a return/repack. Should there be tape along the top? It just seems a bit much. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated, I don't want to complain to BBTS if this is normal. Thanks.
Is it the blue one or the black and white one? I have the black and white one and it doesn't have any tape on the front like that.
The black and clear one, not the Botcon version. I think the KO came in standard Henkei packaging though. Well that's good to hear, I was hoping so. I wasn't going to open him until I found out. So we have to conflicting answers so far, hmm...
Magnus mah bro, yeah packaging for virtually all Henkei figures have tape across the top on the front, just gotta take a knife along the sides and your good to go. Nice score by the way, been wanting to get that Mirage for awhile...might get it soon in fact. ?
Haha, what's up Zero? Thanks man, I don't have any other Henkei to compare him to so, seeing that much tape I was like whaa? Now is probably the best time as ever, BBTS has him for $62 on clearance, cheapest I've seen. Ok so with that, it makes it 2 to 1 so, I guess he is ok to set free Thanks for all the help fellas.
I did, until I brought another Henkei Mirage It is a nice figure! If I hadn't of gotten an amazing deal on Henkei Mirage, I would of been happy with clear Mirage
I jumped on him as well, getting him instead of something else i had my eyes on. I've just been skittish to break him out of his package. I believe I love this one better than the regular decos.
His joints are the tightest I've had on this mold (Mirage, Fracture and Dragstrip) so just use care. The plastic feels just as durable, it's just having the joints being so stiff can be a little nerve racking.
