Well at least it's not Galvatron II using the TR Galvatron mold.

Anyway, I get to save some money, as I'm not interested in this whatsoever.

 

This seems like something that would've been a lot more interesting if it was done like, six years ago.

Looks really nice but I'm pretty sure the price is going to keep me from ordering him like every other e-hobby exclusive (ex: Magnificus).

 

Why? Just let this mold die all ready!

 

I love Ehobby and their crazy cool exclusives (Deadlock! Detritus! Overcharge!).
I love the Classics Prime mold, it's arguably my favorite TF mold of all time.
I love the Powered Convoy deco and hunted down the eHobby reissue years after it came out.
I love Diaclone homages.

This on the other hand is completely pointless and uninteresting (and even kind of sad) to me.
Maybe if they'd used the CW Ultra Magnus mold...

...this just feels like they didn't even try. The exact opposite of my feelings about Convobat.

 

I was interested for a moment then I noticed it wasn't the Combiner Wars Prime it was the pre-historic 11 year old mold.
Oh well I guess I can be some what amused that is looks almost identical to my KOLD version.
If this was the colours being applied on the higher quality Knock off with the distinct windows I'd have been super excited to see it. as it is It is at best mildly interesting - but It's a slight shame it isn't the Combiner Wars mould instead (perhaps with the alternate head used on the white one).

As a blue Optimus might be something that could be perhaps said to be a G2 Prime (In a way) but surely they could have thought to use the Voyager Titans Returns mould and apply the Combat Hero Optimus Prime deco to it or some sort of blue & black deco & pair it with a green or Purple Megatron. Heck Archforce would even fit right in with their story concept too.

Yeah I like this mold way better than the CW version, but give us something new and better.

 

I find this to be something that was done just to tick off a box to mark it done. The Mindwipe repaint was much cooler.

 

I'll get this, will always support Diaclone homages and I do like the venerable classics Optimus mold (that and the Seeker mold they can keep pumping out repaints til the end of time for me). The CHMS KO I currently have will go into the Fansproject DIA Commander armor.

 

Looks like out of all of us who made predictions, Bob here got the closest! The blue background with the Autobot logo from their twitter was indeed a clue, so it wasn't a totally worthless hint! Personally I like it and will get it, even though I already have the CHMS KO of Diaclone Blue Optimus cab. I still think they should have made Shining Magnus (could've been classics, CW or Ultra Magnus mold)!

 

Looks okay, its already sold out, when is it going to be released?
