This is a story that would've been perfect for Halloween. So about in February or May this year when I was living in my old house, I lost the little tail piece to the Classics Ravage that came with Classics Hound. I nearly lost my cool when I discovered that it was gone, but I just decided to live with the fact that I would have an incomplete Ravage. Sucks, because I had it reprolabeled up and everything, and I didn't want to display it missing the tail. I'd mostly keep him in tape mode and just...beside Hound, since I didn't have a Soundwave tape deck anyways. In September I've long forgotten about the lost Ravage tail. I moved in with my grandmother in her awesome awesome house, and we got settled in real nice. Life goes on, until just three hours ago before this posting. I was getting ready go to help clean up the kitchen at my dad's work, when I go back to my computer station and I step on something hard. I pluck it out of the carpet...and it was a piece of black plastic. A thin rod with a big perpendicular round peg. "Oh hell no...this can't be." So I run upstairs to my room to get dressed, and while doing so I check out the Ravage cassette...and lo and behold, it fit, my Ravage complete. In fact, it is the exact piece that I lost at my old house. I'm a secular skeptic, but this is something that really boggles my mind. I cannot believe that this piece got dropped onto the ground in my previous place of living, presumed to be vacuumed up in the endless cleaning I tend to do, somehow got moved with me to Grandma's place, and gets deposited into a place where I would step on it, two months after I've already moved in. I kid you not, this REALLY happened. It's just the strangest and craziest thing I've ever experienced. I hope you enjoyed this...I felt like I just HAD to share this!
You probably thought you lost it in your carpet, but what really happened is it fell into a pocket or a fold in your pants or something and then finally got dislodged at your Grandma's house at some point. It's funny how that happens sometimes.
I'm thinking the "Lodged in clothing/something else" theory is most likely. Tons of stuff was in transit to Grandma's place. I just think it's hilarious that it came out two months after I've already moved in.
In other words, it's your very own AllSpark shard. It didn't bring any kitchen appliances to life, did it?
Damn, no matter how it happened a lot of stuff had to go just right for you to find it! Just imagine if you had vacuumed today or something; you could have sucked it up, tossed it, and never even realized how close you had been. Or maybe if something had been shook slightly differently at your old house and it got left there instead of following you, just so many things that could have gone wrong. Instead, the planets aligned and you just happened to step on the exact spot of carpet where it was. Grats, man!
Hah! I wish. I would consider a serious change in lifestyle if my toys turned appliances into feral robots bent on my death!
Just look out for Penis Bot Seriously though, I also wonder if perhaps that piece couldn't have simply fallen into and gotten stuck in a nook or cranny of your computer stattion, and then finally fell out/came loose?
I need something like this to happen for quite a few parts I've lost over the years. Maybe I should hire you to come over and help me find them.
