Hi all, Not sure if any Robocop fans here but thought I’d share one of the first weathered pieces I ever done I’m a big fan of the original film and especially Ed-209 I managed to pick up a loose Hot Toys 2nd edition ED-209 (Hot Toys : RoboCop - ED-209 1/6th scale collectible) very cheaply one time since it was pretty banged up, anyway instead of restoring it, I went the other direction instead and thus began my love of weathering and all things dirty Hope you guys like it
As NemesisJazz said, it’s a must watch! For a film over 30 years old, it’s still so watchable today! thanks man! Haha thanks officer Murphy thanks! Man I wish I could pick up a cheap Hot Toys Robo, haven’t seen any floating about!
haha thanks bro! nice website u got there! Btw I wanted to ask what are u using to seal everything once you finished your models? tbh I’ve never been sure what’s the best way to protect them after, any ideas?
Glad you like it ..when I'm sealing I just use spray lacquer for car bumbers etc ..now what do you use for rust and what is your technique?
oh ha u mean something from like Halfords or something? Haha the rust I’ve always been using the same AK rust streak paint for all my projects Buy Rust Streaks online for 3.50€ | AK Interactive And technique wise it’s just still brushing and using thinner to do fades, nothing special ..just brought a new loose transformer figure today on the cheap...Gonna start on my new project
Yeah, just something for Halfords etc, make sure it's for plastics ...cool, think i already have some of that AK rust paint, it stinks a bit though ha ..look forward to your next project
