After finally receiving my order I had placed back in October, I only got 2 of the 4 figures in my order. All were listed as in stock when the order was placed and are still currently as far as I'm aware. I reached out to baba to see if there was a second package with some other tracking number. Like every other time i tried getting in contact with them, im sure it'll take awhile for a response.

I don't want to deter anyone from buying from baba, especially since this was my first order, but this will more than likely be my last transaction with them as well.

 

I just ordered some Newage stuff via Baba's site yesterday, so seeing some of these recent comments has me  

I can deal with slow as long as I get them, but considering they're one of the only places left I'm familiar with that had one item and the other two were about $10 cheaper than getting them from stateside retailers, I'm hoping this purchase doesn't go south.

I've made a couple orders from Uncle Billy recently and an order of in-stock stuff at ShowZ in the past month and had no issues with either in terms of regular pace of getting shipped and making its way to me, in comparison. I'll be sad if Baba starts experiencing hiccups.

 

Just received the first four Mechanical Team members from Bababobo website and I'm very happy for the purchase, all went smoothly. Absolute positive experience, fast shipping and good packaging for a good price.

 

To update on my previous order, my Newage stuff arrived yesterday. From order time to arrival it took just under a month. Slower than what I'm used to with Uncle Billy or ShowZ, but not an unusual delay, and tracking updates were available via both China Post and eventually USPS.

 

Got my T10S Starscream from baba, arrived well protected in Europe 2 in weks. Really reccomended, they're great

 

I will. Worst customer service ever after having the same issue. Only responded when PayPal forced them to.

 

That's odd. Baba has always had a reputation for outstanding customer service.

No updates for almost a year, is Baba still a legit seller?

 

I can't say I'd recommend them. I ordered twice from them, and one item was sent to a wrong address. For about a month they tried to say they were not responsible, and then justify asking me to pay again for a replacement. I was stunned. Took like twenty emails to get them to do the right thing, and I think they only did or else I'd have filed a claim with PayPal (Whom I called, and who stated it would be a successful claim based on the evidence I had). Got the replacement, but the value of the time spent could've bought ten TFs. No, I doubt I'd ever order from them again.

 

That sounds like too much of a hassle forna few dollars I can save, how long ago was this?

 

I ordered 2 times from baba, this year once. There was no problem with them.

 

Only got the replacement a couple weeks ago. Original order was sent into oblivion a couple months ago.

 

Ordered through his site, but it’s relevant. Baba sent me and another member the wrong figure when we ordered the same one. Baba was not very helpful in their options for solving it, and they kept up their eBay listing for 2 weeks despite admitting to selling out of the figure. So I wouldn’t recommend them no. Rather shady seller.

 

Wow, can't believe baba came to this, thank you all for sharing your experiences, it was a great seller pre-pandemic, but we'll, I'll stick to showz then
